“Not worth the long wait”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

Sunday lunch with the family (4 well behaved children ). We arrived before 1 o'clock and there were only 4 tables. We ordered promptly from a very limited menu. No one took a drinks order. We sat we waited. A few more tables came in. But it was not a full restaurant. We waited and I wish we had of left!!! Kids food came in dribs and drabs. They had finished before we saw our mains and I had finished before my side dish came!!! I just wonder what the kitchen was doing? Were there any staff in there???? It was all a bit stuffy. Not many smiles and why offer more gravy if you aren't going to bring it?? The whole thing took 2 hours. A bit much for any child. They should have a warning on the door "not suitable for kids".

“A delicious lunch”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

Out for the day with friends, we were looking for lunch and our friends recommended The Dundrum Inn. We all chose different mains: 1 soup & sandwich combo, 1 Chicken Ceasar Salad, 1 fish & chips and 1 Pork Schnitzel. Suffice to say all foru plates were cleared! The presentation of the food was excellent. Two of the party enjoyed desserts: 1 semi freddo (utterly delicious; a feast for the eyes and the tastebuds and 1 tart (cant remember what it was as I was to engrossed in the aforementined semi freddo!). The bill which included 3 soft drinks and 2 large glasses of wine was approx £55. We all enjoyed our meal, but felt that the one member of front of house staff was rather overworked - taking orders, pouring drinks, waiting on table and clearing tables. Having said that, we look forward to returning.

“Our first visit!”
Reviewed June 17, 2013

Having enjoyed the excellent food served at the Mourne Seafood bar in Dundrum we decided to try this restaurant for a change. Whilst as yet I would still prefer the Mourne Seafood bar, nevertheless the quality of the food in the Dundrum Inn was very good as was the atmosphere. I shall certainly return to this restaurant for both fish and meat dishes. On this occasion I had an excellent fillet steak cooked rare to perfection.

“High quality food and friendly service”
Reviewed June 9, 2013

Wow. We stumbled upon your restaurant last night and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing, between us we ordered a variety of things, the mussels, the cod, the chicken and a steak and all were cooked to perfection. There were also a great range of kids meals so miss 2 and mister 4 were happy. Colouring in pages were also supplied for them. Highly highly recommended !
