This restaurant is situated in the most beautiful scenic position. Went for lunch last week with friends and found it hard to leave our tiny table outside in the sun. Food good but it's the situation that's hard to beat !

Our party came for lunch, we were warmly welcomed and first had drinks on the patio overlooking the lough and sailing boats, really pleasant location. The food was very good ranging from superb burgers to scampi and cod dishes, everyone enjoyed their dish. Service was very attentive and such a cheerful team of servers (restaurenters why do you miss this most important basic which covers a multitude of sins). Quite wonderful Irish coffee to finish "Aran" .? at last someone in the green Isle who can do this.

We ate here tonight and were very impressed. It's been far too long since I was here. The setting is perfect and the food excellent. I was particularly impressed by the generous and tasty crab claws.
The service needs a mention in itself. They manage to be very friendly and down to earth without being intrusive or overfriendly. They were a big part of the overall experience.
Couldn't recommend the place highly enough.

Very disappointing food. I ordered the ''Honey glazed gammon'' from the 'specials' board and was served a processed sliced like you can buy pre-packed in a petrol station. Battered fish of the day was haddock, which I'm sure was from the freezer. Their chips were great though!

Also, the premises need tidied up.
