We own a house in the village but stayed here for a few days while things were sorted out after the renovation but I can honestly say we would stay here for a holiday had we not our own house and will certainly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing, comfortable break in stunning surroundings.
The village of Benimassot is a typical rural mountain village of the region, with ancient, narrow streets, some cobbled, lined with pots of flowers, and with the most stunning views of the mountains "Serrella" with it's rock formations know as "Els Frares" - "The Brothers"
The hotel is modern, and very spacious, the rooms are spacious and kept immaculate, there is a comfortable lounge and bar, with a wood burning stove for those colder mountain evenings and a restaurant offering typical local dishes, though if you ask you can have just about whatever you want if it's available! The hotel is WiFi enabled throughout. My partner, who is disabled was well catered for, there are very good disabled facilities including a room specifically designed for disabled guests.
This would be an excellent base to stay for people interested in mountain walks/hiking, and those interested in seeing the flora & fauna of the region, I know many people visit the region for birdwatching, also there are some dramatic and breathtaking geological and historical sights.
