If there is a better B&B I would be surprised. Personal service from the moment we approached the front door. Alvin immediately shows that he appreciates your custom by offering to carrying bags from car to room and offering a welcome refreshment. The whole house is immaculately clean and our room, a large double on top floor looking towards the coast was beautifully decorated and furnished. The bathroom is superb with large fluffy towels and provided with quality toiletries. A tray with more than sufficient tea/coffee and biscuits was always available. A good quality flat screen tv was also provided. Bed was large double and very good quality bedding a very nice feather duvet which my Wife loved although it wasn't cold enough to do itself justice. Breakfast ample and served by Alvin, nicely cooked by David in light and bright large room overlooking meadow/marshland towards coast. There is also small bar in lounge which very handy as nearest pub. is quite a distance away.
My Wife and I have no hesitation in saying nobody can be disappointed after staying here and I'm sure we will return at some time.
On leaving Alvin again almost insisting he assists with bags to car but really this is above what you expect at B&B and I'm still fit enough to be able to carry out this task!
Thanks Alvin and David for a memorable and very pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Can only vouch for our large double but I understand all rooms are of same standard but slightly sma...

We would both like to thank you very much for your very kind comments and also for taking the time to write a review on Trip Advisor. We are pleased you enjoyed your trip on the bus to Caernarfon and then on the Welsh Highland railway back and also on the Tal-y-Llyn Railway. We also hope you enjoyed being back in Fairbourne and Barmouth after many years and that you also managed to get to the beach for some paddling.
Thank you again very much.

Our stay in Einion House was spotless. From the first to the last moment. We were personally welcomed and offered tea upon our arrival. This is very nice touch. We had a familly room on the second floor. It had large bedroom with wonderful view over the meadow with sheeps and sea. The second smaller seperate bedroom had view to hills. Both rooms had very confy beds and tvs with big variety of channels and tea making facilities. You do not see kettle for tea in rooms very often. We found that very usefull. And variety of tea, coffee, chocolate and cookies in your room. Better than at home. Also bathroom, clean and cleaner. Whole house was nice. And fast free wi-fi in room, very nice.
Plus very tasty Welsh full-cooked breakfast, fresh fruit salad, juices and cereals. It had took a long time before you were hungry again :)
We came to Wales because of Race the Train event in Tywyn. So we were busy on Saturday (if you are runner this race is very nice). But for Sunday we were totally unprepared. But David and Alvin suggested very nice trail from Dolgellau to Barmouth along the river.
I can honestly recommend Einion house to anyone who wants to spend nice time in Welsh countryside with superb service.

Congratulations for taking part and beating the Train on the Tal-y-Llyn Railway on “Race the Train” weekend. We were also pleased to hear you enjoyed your walk along the Mawddach Trail from Dolgellau to Barmouth. Also you were our first guest not from Britain to take part in “Race the train” so we were impressed you came all the way from Prague. We would both like to thank you very much for your very kind comments regarding your stay with us and also for taking the time to write a review on Trip Advisor, which we both greatly appreciate.
Thank you again very much.

We stayed here two nights and I simply cannot rate this B&B highly enough. The room was fantastic, the bathroom was huge, the view from the window stunning. Breakfast was comprehensive, well cooked, using local produce.

One of the most comfortable beds I have slept in, the bed linen was of very high quality, crisp and clean. the whole place is totally spotless, and the attention to detail unmatched in any hotel we have stayed in in many years.

This is one we will definitely return to.

Room Tip: we had room 7 which was excellent.

We enjoyed a week here and don't think you will find a better value guest house in mid Wales. The hosts are friendly, the rooms are immaculate and the whole house is clean and up together. Alvin makes you feel welcome the moment you cross the threshold. My wife loved the feather duvets and pillows although I preferred David's scrambled eggs that accompanied the lovely grilled breakfast. We can't rate this house highly enough - you won't be disappointed! Hope to return so I can do the railways, again.

What a well kept secret in this wonderful part of Wales. Alvin and David were perfect hosts. A personal plus was having the joy of feather pillows and duvee. The full breakfast was delicious, especially the tomatoes. We have already booked for our next visit in September.

Room Tip: Just go for the rooms with a view! Amenities are excellent.

We enjoyed an overnight stay here while walking part of the coastal path. We were made very welcome, and had a comfortable night's sleep followed by an excellent breakfast.
It's a little way from Fairbourne, so without a car it would be best to eat a meal in Barmouth as we did, if walking through there.

We do hope you enjoyed and completed this part of the Wales Coastal Path successfully after leaving us and enjoyed going past the Blue Lake on your walk south. We are also pleased to hear you had a comfortable stay at Einion House B & B. Just to let you know that Fairbourne is a 12 minute walk from us which has a good fish and chip shop and Indian restaurant as well as a pub, for somewhere to eat; though if you are walking from Barmouth to Fairbourne, eating in Barmouth may be the better option.
We would both like to thank you very much for your very kind comments regarding your stay with us and also for taking the time to write a review on Trip Advisor, which we both greatly appreciate.
