Just back from this year's stay at Einion House, and Alvin and David have done it again. They obviously have no concept of the phrase 'resting on one's laurels' and have continued to develop their wonderful Guest House beyond what was already perfection, constantly upgrading fixtures and fittings with the highest quality materials - no falling into the trap of skimping on bathroom or bedroom furniture or paintwork, no scrawny towels like you get elsewhere, just a feeling of complete luxury. Even the quality of the verge-parking has been improved since last year. Add to all that the perfectly-cooked breakfast, again with the finest ingredients, together with the unparalled location at the mouth of the stunning Mawddach Estuary (featured in both Julia Bradbury's 'Railway Walks' and the BBC's 'Coast') - not forgetting the fantastic Fairbourne miniature railway - and you have a guest-house experience which surely couldn't be bettered. I'll be there again as soon as I can escape!
