“Great location, great house in every way”
Reviewed June 27, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

This was a great house to stay in, in a great location, off the beaten track- but just 5 mins walk from Pont y Pant station. The house is very well furnished and equipped, and a delight to stay in.

“Cosy cottage in beautiful location”

We stayed for a week at Easter and were lucky to have brilliant weather. The cottage is at the end of a quiet lane next to a bubbling stream with wonderful views all around. The cottage has everything you need including a wood burner which keeps the living room nice and warm on an evening. Beds are very comfortable. We spent most of the week out walking - you can do quite a lot of walking from the door of the cottage (a good one to do is to walk over the hill to visit Ty Mawr) but also short drives take you to stunning places to walk including Snowdon. There are plenty of places to eat in Betws y coed (best meal we had was at the Waterloo hotel), the main pub in Dolwydellan has closed down but you can eat in the hotel there - you need to book.

Had a lovely stray in Dolmurgoch in December despite the welsh weather. It is ideally situated within Snowdonia and a lovely place to stay.

“Best cottage we've stayed at yet”
Reviewed July 12, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Can't fault this cottage, modern high quality amenities in a lovely old building. It's in a quiet out of the way location but close enough to Betws-y-Coed to drive in a few minutes. The owners went beyond the level we'd have expected to make us welcome, and the log burner and comfortable lounge meant we were as happy staying in as eating out. It is easy to reach the many outdoor attractions of Snowdonia from here, and there are plenty of walks and bike rides from the front door. We didn't want to come home and we would be happy staying here again.
