I was originally booked in here for 3 nights but extended it to 4 on my first day. It is a lovely friendly pub with very comfortable rooms and excellent food. I was staying here on my own and the staff made me feel very welcome and it was a pleasure to come back each evening after long walks along the coastal path. The food was superb both evening meals and breakfast and service excellent. My room was a spacious double and the only improvement would have been to have a bath but the shower was more than adequate. I would definitely stay again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others

Room Tip: I stayed in Room one - Skomer which is spacous double with a very comfortable bed. Only a shower room but more than adequate

The Cambrian is more of a restaurant than a pub and the food quality reflects that fact. Better than average surroundings with attentive staff. Good choice of ales to get the evening under way too. The only niggle I would have is that some of the tables are too close. We sat at a table for two which was far too close to the others either side and you are rather forced to chat to those either side. Not too bad for us but some would not want that. The food was very well presented and delicious at reasonable prices. This is not a quick eat and move on place. The food is to be savoured and enjoyed. I had the Lamb Curry which others has recommended and it lived up to the hype. Smooth and velvety with the right accompaniments. The chips were home cut and top class. My dessert was a very classy Belgian Waffle. These people know about food. Well worth trying. .

The location is good being in the village main street. The bedrooms are within an old inn and have low ceilings and rather dim in appearance. Bedroom has twin beds one pushed up against wall preventing curtains drawing properly. Two dimable lights on wall only one dims. Room faces main road through the village so some traffic noise. The bathroom long and narrow with a bare minimum of toiletries. Does not have the personal care that you usually find in a B&B for example the beds do not have bedheads the pillows are up against the wall. The breakfast was one of the best that I have had with freshly ground coffee and a good choice of excellent breakfast dishes. The inn also serves very good evening meals in their cosy restaurant.

Mature couple walking part of the P Way. One of 9 B and B's/hotels over 11 days. One night stay. Cooked breakfast very good but they lost their way with visiting group choosing from overcomplicated breakfast menu and we had long wait. Cereals and extras lacked immagination. Dinner was good but overpriced. However very convenient after 12 miles!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were lovely and food amazing. However, there were a few stains on the bed spead and pillow and a few marks on the wall. It would of been good if fresh milk was left by your door or plastic pot milks were left and a varied tea bags were provided. Would stay again.
