After just heading to st Govans chapel had a Nice time going down the rocks, my only disappointment was I didn't see a sign to were to go. So ended up missing the walk way, but luckily I asked some friendly Canadians if the knew were it was, the walk down was worth it though,

Very unique and interesting. However did they manage to build it??
We visited on a beautiful sunny and warm day. There is a short steep climb down to the chapel with uneven steps, but there are some non slip patches installed and a hand rail.
It was totally isolated when we went, which made it lovely - spiritual if you will!!!
Apparently pirates stole St Govan’s silver bell, but it was ok because angels stole it back again and incorporated it in the rocks there which ring like a bell, alledgedly!!!!
Alas we didn’t discover any ringing rocks - does anyone know where they are - for next time!!!!!!

Last bank holiday my wife and I decided to explore the Pembrokeshire coast. We found St Govans chapel, fantastic place set into the cliffs, very tranquil and interesting.
Car parking is available on the top of the cliff for those with walking issues, the chapel is less then 50 metres from the car park.
However there are steps to go down with a hand rail.
Also you can walk the coastal path with stunning scenery, bring a blanket, coffee and food, relax and enjoy the area/
Warning - check the tank ranges are not I use first as it will be a wasted car journey as you will be stopped by the sentries

If you're in the area and can handle going up and down a few steps, you must pop in here for 10 minutes. Dread to think how this was built in this location. Do go through the chapel and down to the sea to look back and get the best view.

Chapel is historic, but not much to see.

I liked the location because it was very secluded, not busy, picturesque and serene. It was so peaceful.

It was a bit of a challenge to walk (hop?) down to the sea level over boulders to have a close look at the magnificent arch in the cliff face and a sea cave, but I marvelled at how nature created such a wonderful feature by itself.

We also enjoyed a brisk walk to St Govan’s Head in ever strengthening winds (you are exposed to the elements here). Excellent 360 degree view from the top of the mound, including a good view of the Bristol Chanel.
