“Brings the Abbey into place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2012

I like the way the centre links the Abbey, pond and so on to give the village a new centre. It is compact, with a decent set of snacks and drinks and exhibitions and also benefits from hosting a weekly farmers' market.

“A Nice Spot for Lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2012

The Coach House served up a lovely lunch for us at their outdoor tables. Watching the antics of the ducks and geese in the pond added to the delight (especially for our dog). Our group loved their sandwiches, and I had a homemade quiche that tasted great (though I could have eaten a larger portion). They use local produce when possible and had a good selection of healthy choices. They also offer a good selection of local books, maps, and lovely gifts. We will definitely go again when we're next in the area.

“Delicious lunch, lovely grass roofed building”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2012

If you are visiting the Abbey this is a lovely eco centre to pop into. We've eaten here twice and the ham cawl was delicious as was the homemade Homity pie the second time. The cawl came with cheese and bread and was very filling and the homity pie portion was huge.
Would recommend paying 50p and looking at the museum there, despite being small I really enjoyed the display. On the Tuesday there is an excellent farmers market here, not going to mention the stalls as don't want them to sell out, but very, very tasty locally caught fish here.
