The cottages are gorgeous and while they are all together, they are still private with their own patio areas. They have everything you could need. Our hosts Lisa & Paul were welcoming & helpful. We would recommend the homecooked meals, they were delish! This is a beautiful part of Wales and a great first Welsh trip! We will definitely be back to this beautiful location and most definitely back to Cwm Connell. Having stayed in similar accommodation in other places we would rate and recommend Cwm Connell very highly - we have already passed on the details to several of our friends and collegues.

Initially, I must point out that Cwm Connell is NOT an hotel but a lovely, small, family self catering cottage complex. However, it is fairly remote and very quiet. Don't expect nightlife ! This is our holiday haven where we return year after year. We love the peaceful and tranquil rural location, which is within a short distance of sandy beaches (Poppit Sands) or pebble coves with rock pools (Ceibwr Bay), where you can see seals, dolphins and perhaps a red kite or peregrine falcon. The majority of south Cardigan Bay & Pembrokeshire remains unspoilt by tourism and is a paradise for walkers & nature lovers. Some shops nearby with Cardigan about 5 miles for the 'big shop'. ENJOY !

My second visit to this location which offers wide scope for the exploration of Pembrokeshire coasts and national park areas. It provides a quiet, secure and peaceful base and the help and support of the welcoming and thoughtful hosts Lisa & Paul. The cottages are very well equipped, clean, spacious and comfortable. Although it feels that you are miles from anywhere, it is so quiet and restful there, you are in fact within easy access to the beautiful coastal and natural features of the area and also the local towns and shops etc. There are plenty of closely located excellent pubs for eating out if you choose or an affordable first class menu available from the hosts. Highly recommended for photographers wishing to take landscape photographs.

Cottages are fabulous, have everything you need, TV, Cooker, Microwave, Dishwasher, Comfy beds. Within the farm, there is a library of places of interest and the use of owners DVD's, wifi connection (if you really can't do without one) a games room, somewhere to wash & dry clothes (great if you are caught in a downpour!). The owners Lisa & Paul are very friendly, know a lot about the area around them and are willing to give you guidance on some good walking routes. Walks to local beaches are a must (great for dog walking). If you decide to eat in (we highly recommend it) the food is fabulous home cooked 'loveliness'!
