“Lamb & Flag Inn,Bryncoch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2013

Good welcome, excellent menu choices, fresh food, excellent service, cooked just right,
portions sizeable, innovative desserts. My wife and I eat here from time to time during the week and for Sunday lunch and the a al carte and traditional fare is superb. No mass produced cloned chain food here. I'd recommend the place to anyone.

“A friendly comfortable village pub with restaurant quality food.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2013

We visit here regularly as a couple and have enjoyed all our meals. The food is freshly cooked and of excellent quality. There are daily specials with fresh fish cooked superbly. We last visited with our family four adults two children aged 9 and 7. The adults enjoyed their choice from the menu and the grandchildren asked for the home made pizza which they say is better than Mummy's own home made!! They also particularly enjoy the mint imperial that is presented with the bill.
Alex looked after them really well and even managed some ice for the younger one in her fruit shoot drink. That made her feel very grown up. All the staff here are so welcoming and very pleasant. A change from the chain type pubs.

“A great experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2013

I have had the pleasure of enjoying many superb meals at this local pub. The food is always fresh, tasty and beautifully served. On the last occasion, I sampled the steak and ale pie, which is to die for!! The staff are very friendly and attentive, and it is obvious that the owners take great pride in getting it right. Overall, a great experience!

“Great Sunday lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2013

Had a great Sunday lunch at the Lamb and Flag. Ingredients were of the highest quality and very cooked by the Chef, Dave.

I have eaten at the Lamb and Flag many times and I have never been let down.

If you want really good home cooked food and you are no longer prepared to put up with quality of chain pub food then try the Lam and Flag.
