Dining options: Late Night, Breakfast, Lunch, Reservations
Description: Tucked away inside Neaths four-star boutique hotel The Blue Bell, La Mancha is a Mediterranean restaurant that rates highly on the local dining scene. Dressed up in sexy natural materials such as leather, stone and wood, the restaurant has an earthy ambience and celebrities including Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson have been known to dine here. With the occasional live jazz night and its moreish menu, La Mancha is a romantic place for two but it is also suitable for business breakfasts and lunch dates. The emphasis in the kitchen is on using fresh Welsh produce, and the staff here are passionate about creating a fun, unstuffy vibe.

This restaurant is consistently good. It is fairly small with modern decor and a menu that is not so long that it puts you off. What is on offer is varied, cooked well and presented stylishly. The added charm is that you go and choose your side orders and steaks and fish from a chiller cabinet, so that you know exactly what the chef is cooking for you. The staff are pleasant and eager to please, and that continues in the bar, which is adjacent to the restaurant, behind a glass partition. I have indicated that we went as a couple, as the Tripadvisor options don't allow multiple choices, but I have visited this restaurant as part of a couple, with family, with friends and also with a staff party, which was catered for in a separate room with it's own bar.
There is a hotel adjacent to the restaurant, called The Bluebell, which is ideal for people who want to make their evening extra special, or don't want to drive home, or need to stay and enjoy the area for a dew days.

Me and a group of friends went to La Mancha for a meal upon arrival we were greeted by the restaurant manager Richard.

He offered us the wine list and the cocktail menu.

a few of us had some cocktails which we could see them being made from scratch by the barman.

We were then seated by 2 very cheerful Spanish waiters taking our drinks to the table.

I had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection my friends had mussels and the minted lamb steak etc.

For dessert a few of us had the cheese board which had a selection of Spanish cheeses which were very tasty we were offered a Spanish cider with our cheese which really complimented the taste and the texture of the cheese selection.

I would really recommend La Mancha to anyone who wants a 5 star service and a night to remember.

Thank you La Mancha we will be back.

Had a fantastic evening at La Mancha, from the start of the night to finish the restaurant was ram packed, but well controlled by the staff, great service and all staff attentive yet unobtrusive, even with the volumes of people there, they have a great thing going on, we will definitely be returning soon.

A restricted menu, but delicious food and helpful staff! Decor is contemporary and stylish, and prices aren't too bad. Would definitely return!

Had lunch at La Mancha with my 5 year old boy. We ordered a bowl of mussels and squid and salmon from the lunch-time special menu. The meal was great value and extemely tasty. We both polished off the mussels which were plump, juicy and delicious. The service was spot on with friendly waiters and waitresses. I've agreed to go back with the boy as he liked the mussels so much.
