“Fabulous Modern Hotel with great Restaraunt”
Reviewed November 24, 2008

My family and I stayed at the Bluebell last weekend as part of a function they were hosting for the public for the Rugby Internationals and what a fantastic time we had there!

At check-in we were met by a happy and professional receptionist who also co-ordinated our car-parking. The rooms are fabulous and very luxurious with eveything you would expect in a hotel of this standard, plus the extra touches were nice.

The rugby event early evening was well co-ordinated and the food which was served prior to the game - a four course meal was unbelievable. The kitchen is open so you can see how spotlessly clean and organised they are, plus 2 of our guests were vegetarian and the chef was quite happy to cater for their requirements.

All in all we had a great time at the Bluebell and will definately go back.

My friend and I stayed at the Bluebell for three nights over the second weekend of October. It is a brand-new, lovely hotel; the bathroom alone is a thing of beauty, and I still think about the soft fluffy towels in moments of absent-mindedness. However, I would recommend that you ask for a quiet room facing the back; our room faced the main road and there are multiple pubs and clubs close by. On Friday and Saturday night the noise from party-goers is pretty excessive, at one point sirens went off as the police arrived to break up what sounded like a riot under our window. The receptionists are friendly, especially Sam, who went out of her way to help us out, however as they have only been open for a month they are still a bit disorganized. No one knew how to work the safe in our room (the safe door was shut and no one knew how to get it open); we decided to extend our stay from one night to three and we were told we would have to switch rooms by 11 the next morning. After a frenzy of packing we went down at 11 only to be told that it was fine, we would not have to switch rooms after all, and when asked why we weren't called we were told that "they didn't want to bother us." However, these issues are minor, and at the promotion price of 90 pounds a night for a deluxe double (we had a sitting area with a couch and some chairs) it is very good value. Just bring ear plugs.

We have just returned from a weekend at the Bluebell Hotel. The hotel is magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible service before.
Well I don't know where to start. This is a new fabulous built hotel with gorgeous interior and design.
Rooms:
The rooms were very comfortable I stayed in the Suprior Double it only cost £89.95 per room per night & that included breakfast for myself and my husband. The room's had everything we wanted for a weekend break.
What was in out room: Iron & Ironing Board, Safe, Tea & coffee making facilities, Free internet access minibar &anything else you would expect from a 4**** star hotel.
We ate in the La Mancha restaurant I had Seabass and my partner had Fillet Steak we just could not fault anything.
The staff do their upmost best to make your stay enjoyable.
Thank-You for a great weekend we will be back!!
