Very nice hotel, modern decor finished to a high standard and well maintained. Our room was a generous size also. The Staff were very friendly and helpful and gave good advice for local amenaties. We ate our evening meal at the hotel twice during our 3 night stay and on both occasions enjoyed the meal but found the menu very basic and lacked vegatables. I would stay at the BlueBell again if in the area.
On the down side although adequate the breakfast did not impress. There was street noise throughout the night and early morning. On site parking is sparse but the local train station carpark close and charges reasonable. Nice hotel shame about the town.

Good location right in the centre of Neath.

Lovely rooms, well equipped and decorated.

Ate in restaurant, food copious and good quality.

Only spoilt by rather jobs worth receptionist quibbling over having to claim £3 drink from travel reservation company after I reassured her every other hotel in the country uses it fine! She was rather rude so wouldn't stay again

I used TripAdvisor feedback to select hotels for a recent family holiday, and we booked to stay at the Blue Bell Hotel in July. We got to the hotel very late after a lot of driving, and it was great to be able to check in so quickly. The room was fantastic, and the service excellent. We needed to leave early to catch the ferry, and the restaurant staff served a wonderful breakfast to get us on our way. I was able to park our car in the garage, which made it very convenient.

We came here with our friends from Newbury and had a really enjoyable stay at the Bluebell. The prices are competitive for the area as we normally stay at a budget chain hotel but when we looked into booking the Bluebell was cheaper as breakfast was already included. The breakfast was delicious you either get full English or if daring you can try the Welsh breakfast which consists of lava bread and cockles, you also get the usual cereals, juices, croissants etc. we thought it was first calss. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are top notch, good power shower, flat screen TV and a winner in my book a comfy bed, you also get an iron and ironing board, a mini bar and a safe. The only downside and this is no fault of the hotel is the parking facilities -they have a very small underground car park enough for 3 small cars and a small car park adjacent to the hotel. We managed to find a space nearly every evening but we did come back later one evening and had to park opposite in the time zoned area, as this hotel is used by mainly business people the car park does empty pretty early so before the traffic wardens were around at 9am we moved our car into the car park. This can be a pain if you want to lie in but did not cause us too much of a problem.

We were very happy with our stay at the Bluebell and will return when visiting family in the area definitely recommend.

The Bluebell Hotel turned out to be a real find. The room was massive with a huge and comfortable bed, the bathroom was really nice with a shower and a bath and there was plenty of tea and coffee, toiletries etc in teh room. The booking process was easy and I had a few queries etc whcih I emailed to teh hotel before we arrived and the staff were very helpful.

Breakfast was good, plenty of choice although as we were mid-week visitors it was pretty quiet and the staff were possibly a bit too relaxed in the morning!

The restaurant is good although quite expensive however the portions really are huge and the fish is lovely - loads of choice and a good wine list too!

The only things that I would say were not idealabout the hotel were that the toiletries were not replaced each day (and we had used them - not stashed them in our suitcases!) I had to ask for more shower gel on the second day and we still didn't get any more on the third, I thought this was a bit of a let down.

Also, we upgraded our room to s uperior double and the bed, while being massive and very comfortable, was two beds zipped together - I wish hotels wouldn't do this!

However, on the whole, friendly staff, good food, good room and good value for money.

We stayed at the BlueBell Hotel for one night as part of our holiday in Southern Wales. We chose this hotel because of its location between the coast and the Brecon Beacons National Park. We were not disappointed: the room was spacious and comfortable, nicely decorated and with really tasteful touches, such as the very good bath products in the bathroom. The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced. Neath is not really a tourist destination, but it is easily accessible as a stopover and this hotel is certainly a very good option in terms of value and comfort.
