We stayed in the fantastic Highlands Cottage for a couple of nights, and found it to be a serene and lovely experience. The cottage has everything you might need, and a beautiful view over orchards, hills and forests. Sitting out on the patio for breakfast was fantastic, and made even better by the home pressed apple juice from the orchard on site and fresh apple jam. Enjoying a glass of wine by the fire pit at the end of the day was also extremely relaxing. The owners of the property are super friendly, and very helpful. Our young kids loved exploring the grounds and feeding the animals. We'd definitely recommend this place, and will visit again ourselves.
First time I'd visited and was blown away by the beauty and tranquility of the farm. Gorgeous views, great camping facilities, very excited goats, lovely friendly owners and lots of cute places for the kids to hide and play. I can't wait to cone back again for our next campsite adventure!
What an idyllic spot! If you’re looking for a beautiful escape, then you’ve stumbled across the right place. It’s-just-lovely! The proprietors are relaxed, the accommodation is relaxed, the views are relaxing, and the environs are relaxing! Seriously, it’s paradise found - book yourselves in!
A lovely well appointed cottage which slept our family of four (aged 5 and 2) comfortably with space for our Springer Spaniel too. The children played whilst we drank Robs amazing farmhouse cider. Great woodland walks and runs on your doorstep too so the dog was in her element. A really great getaway. Perfect
Its a beautiful countryside location with plenty of access to nature and pleasant walks. The cottage is very comfortable with lots of amenities and space.
Had a wonderful stay. The cottage is very comfortable with all mod cons. Rob & Louise were lovely hosts (highly recommend the apple juice they made). Beautiful location with some great walks on the doorstep.
Superb stay with friendly hosts in Rob and Loiuse. The cottage has all you need for a simply relaxing stay. We took our two grandchildren aged 6&7 who loved feeding the lambs and the chickens. The biggest attraction for them was the rope swing! For us it was having Colonel’s Wood and The Forest of Dean on the doorstep and peaceful evenings with no sound of traffic only nature.
