The Beaufort Arms
High Street, Raglan Village, Monmouthshire
NP15 2DY

The Beaufort Arms in Raglan, near Raglan Castle, is a comfortable and economical 16th Century coaching inn, centrally located for touring the Wye Valley and the local castles.

Our room was rather plain, but it was comfortable and clean, reasonably priced and quiet. We were referred to The Beaufort Arms by the local tourist board staff, not because of the sleeping accommodations, but because of the food. This is where the tourism experts go for a nice dinner out.

The restaurant had a romantic atmosphere, with both smoking and non-smoking areas. In addition to the printed menu, the chef offers daily specials which were outstanding and inexpensive for the quality of the meal.

We can highly recommend this little gem!
