This is where they filmed the James Bond movie Thunderball in 1964. The grotto is great and the time to go is at low (slack) tide. You can enter the grotto without going underwater at low tide. The grotto has an opening in the ceiling allowing sunlight to come in. It is full of fish, so bring some frozen peas-corn or something to cause a feeding frenzy...quite fun. Only draw back is the number of people that may be there when you arrive. Go slightly before low tide and get in ahead of the crowd.
