“Very clean and peaceful”

Charlie has created a peaceful, clean and comfortable home away from home. Every need is taken care of here! Even though you may have neighbors staying next to you, the home is very sound proof and quiet. The grounds are beautifully taken care of and the water is amazingly clear and inviting! Would love another cabana just in case there are several already enjoying it. The kayaks were fun! We swam and waded in the Aqua water like it was a huge pool! Unbelievable! Thanks to Charles and his beautiful wife who were both very gracious and accommodating! We love our stay!

“Beautiful views with sand bar in crystal clear waters”

Charles was an excellent property manager, friendly and charming. He had fresh fruit in the kitchen and a lovely mango for my first morning breakfast. The kitchen has everything you need with excellent appliances just like back home. The apartment was cozy and spotless clean with plenty of fresh towels. Internet and TV are there but are not important, when your on a beautiful blue and green lagoon bay, crystal clear ocean water and shallow sand bar for swimming. Plenty of natural sea life lots of fish, sting rays and sea turtles. When the tide is out its perfect to cross the lagoon bay to explore the sand bar - Man-O-War-Cay and swim in shallow spots. The boat rental was fun to explore the area and travel into town for food shopping. The shelter gazebo was a nice patio feature for lunch, dinner and cocktails in the evening, watching the tide change, which I found so enchanting, this natural environmental feature. I felt safe on the property which was peaceful, private and secluded which is nice change from large resorts and the crowds. Thank you Charles we enjoyed our vacation very much.

We love this quiet, beautiful end of Great Exuma with shallow waters and great views of Man-o-war and Moriah Cays and this is the best vacation rental we've found. Charlie is an unbelievably generous host and he keeps the property in immaculate condition. Restaurants, shopping and other beaches are only a short drive away, or you could spend all of your time right on the property fishing, swimming, boating and relaxing. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

“Perfect location, house and owners”

We stayed here at the beginning of may for 10 nights, 4 of us in one villa, the villa is spotless, has wifi, satelite tv, air con, full kitchen, perfect for an extended stay. The grounds are great, a small private beach, a dock and gazebo for sunbathing, and ladder into the clear warm calm sea. Charlie and family are great and courteous hosts, he picked us up and returned us to the airport, and even rented us a car. He brought us fresh fruits picked from his garden, and was there for any queries. We loved going fishing with his brother in law Collie, caught a load of fish which Collie kindly cleaned, spiced and cooked for our dinner. We tried fishing from the dock and caught a few fish also.
A great tip is to drive to Hoopers bay beach, pick up some frozen squid from town or Smittys and head to the two piers on the far right of the beach and feed the tame wild turtles.
We will more than likely be back.

“Clean, comfortable, quiet and great location!”

We enjoyed our week stay at Bay View Villas. Charlie and his family are so helpful without being overbearing. Town was just a 10 min. drive and the best eating places were 10-15 min. away. The house had all the little things you might need covered, from toilet paper to laundry soap. The kayaks were perfect and the area was absolutely gorgeous to explore. The beds and pillows were comfortable and fresh. They keep the yard and house in tip top shape and we totally enjoyed everything. Thanks for a great week, Charlie and family! We truly enjoyed getting to know you and learning more about your fantastic island!

“Great Location, Great Host”

We stayed here for 9 nights. Charlie picked us up at the airport, he made it easy for us even though our flight was 3 hours late. He even had a cold Kalik waiting for me. The rental had everything we needed and was spotless. Charlie pays attention to the details and you can tell by the cleanliness and upkeep of the property. Our aircon stopped working on Sunday and he had a service tech there within hours, I don't think I could pull that off at home. We rented one of his cars (he has 2 cars, 1 truck and 2 boats for rent), it was nice to know it was there if we wanted to use it but if we didn't it didn't cost us a days rental. Car was very clean and ran great. We rented the boat for a day and did some snorkeling (there is a map of buoys available) and had lunch at ChatnChill.

I also spent a day fishing with Charlie, he knows the flats and fishes hard. No shortage of bonefish in the area. He went fishing one day and gave us some filets, great on the grill. He also has kayaks that can be paddled around the nearby cays.

Definitely recommend this rental. Can't say enough on how accommodating Charlie is. Keep in mind that there is a full kitchen but no restaraunts nearby. We ate breakfast in and usually had the other meals out. Be sure to try Tropic Breeze, it's not too far from away.

Charlie was always prompt and available for our needs yet gave us plenty of space. He doesn't operate on island time. There are 2 units side by side that share a large common deck, we hardly saw the other guests. All of the rental rates are clearly layed out on a rental sheet on the wall. Charlie is more than willing to answer any question, just ask.

Our trip to The Exumas and our stay at Bayview Villas was amazing! A week was not long enough! This rental had everything we needed ( car, kayaks, boats) and we only had to deal with Charles the owner who went over and beyond to make our vacation truly special! This place felt like home away from home! Perfect location and isolation. Many days we kayaked and explored many of the islands and we were the only people around. Driving around was easy and the rental is in the middle of everything! Charles built the villas and he did not miss a beat with the construction and interior.... Everything you need is provided. The other rental was rented during our stay but wasn't an issue and never really saw them. I've traveled a lot but I have to say the views from the villa are probably the prettiest I've ever seen. Can't wait to go back! -Georgia Richmond, VA
