Amazing location with beach loungers and lots of inside and outside seating options. We arrived at 10 am on a Saturday in July looking for breakfast after finding no options on a drive to the north of the Island. We could smell the food but were told it wouldn't be ready for another hour and also informed there was to be a yacht race in front of the polace that afternoon. We settled into a lounger and had a couple of cold sodas. The place started to fill up with friendly locals and the tachts arrived to prepare the sails. The food tuned out to be an amazing buffet for $19 per person. Fresh fish, griiled and BBQ chicken, rice with crabs, steamed cabbage with plaintians..all of it delicious. We stayed all day mixing with the locals and picking our favourte yacht, she didn't win but it was a day we will remember for a long time. You must also walk down the beach and visit the cave where an eccentric englishman lived for 15 years. Ask at the bar and they will show you his photo and tell you his fascinating story.

Elvis & Maryann Rolle own and run this delightful beachside restaurant in Rolletown at the Western end of Great Exuma. Well worth the ride.
Only sad part is that they are only open lunchtime on Saturday and Sunday. Excellent food and a perfect beach. Phone ahead 345 6244 to double check (always a good policy in Exuma!)

Wow, what a fantastic location! It's a little out of the way, but it's worth it! Make sure you go on the weekend for the Bahamian buffet and try a bit of everything - a really good example of traditional local fare done well. Recommend calling first to make sure they are open and let them know how many in your party. Super friendly staff. Stay and hang out on the beach - a good afternoon excursion. Walk over to The Cave where a Canadian fellow had lived (be careful of sand burrs just outside the opening).

What can you say about a restaurant that has amazing food and the friendliest people making you feel like they are welcoming you to their home. Of course, in this case, their home is a huge deck overlooking the incredible waters of Exuma. Sun drenched with a white sand beach that goes on forever, you never get tired of the view. Assuming you want to take your eyes off your plate of incredible food (the conch fritters are to die for), you can look out and see the breakers on the Cays in the distance or watch some of the sailboats go by. Enjoy the drive down the coast to this gem of a restaurant and enjoy the plentiful buffet. Maryann and Elvis will make you feel welcome and you will become old friends because, believe me, you will be back! The only thing we haven't tried is their catering service but that might be on track for one of our future visits.

The food is varied and excellent quality. and it sits by the water in a very stunning location.
