“Best food on the island!”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

We are coming to the end of a great trip to Exuma and have been very disappointed in the food overall. The Shoreline has saved the day. I had the lobster and my husband had the fish and chips. Both meals were delicious. Violet and Kevin (owners) were gracious, incredibly kind and incredibly hardworking. The setting is beautiful. They even lent us snorkeling gear! We are going back before we leave.

“Best drinks on the island”
Reviewed December 31, 2013 via mobile

We didn't eat here but just stopped for drinks. Definitely the largest and best tasting piña coladas we had on our whole vacation. Great location and setting. There are no signs to this place so if you can find it you'll have the place to yourselves. Locals don't even know about it.

“Conch Burger to Die For!”
Reviewed December 19, 2013

If you find yourself in Exuma, definitely check out the Shoreline Beach Club! My fiancee and I had lunch there after a trip to Coco Plum Beach. We had a great lunch and an amazing pina colada. Violet and Kevin are awesome and will also rent kayaks and other watersports. I can't wait to return to Exuma and see their new hotel! An amazing view with amazing owners! You can walk from Coco Plum Beach to the Shoreline or vice versa. Highly recommend the walk! Getting there was easier on foot from Coco Plum rather than getting back in the car and driving.

Our second day at Shoreline, Violet offered us fresh coconut milk that had been freshly chopped from the palm tree by Kevin. An amazing experience and a wonderful couple. We wish them the best!!!!

“Paradise at the end of the road”
Reviewed December 3, 2013 via mobile

Violet and Kevin are the perfect hosts, in the most unpretentious way. Warm smiles, delicious food and superior drinks make this place worth the drive from little Exuma. Bring your suit because the ocean beckons. We'll be back!

“What's Not to Love?”
Reviewed October 29, 2013 via mobile

We spent five days in Exuma and saw a great deal of its beautiful shores. Using Trip Advisor as a dining guide, we tried to hit as many of the highly rated restaurants as possible. TA is how we found out about the Shoreline Beach Club. It was a bit hard to find, off of a tiny road from another tiny road off of the Queen's Highway in Rolleville. It was pouring rain when we got there and my wife waited in the rental car while I dashed up to the restaurant to make sure that we were at the right place and that it was open.

Violet, who owns and operates the restaurant with her husband Kevin, offered me an umbrella for my wife. The parking area does not provide a clue as to the beauty that awaits around the corner and we were taken aback by the view from the bar. The setting of the restaurant is among the most gorgeous beaches on the island (and on Exuma, that's saying something!)

We were the only patrons there at the time and we had a very nice conversation with Violet. She is a very personable lady. My wife later commented that Violet has the perfect personality for what she does and is like "a ray of sunshine".

Violet prepared a mango daiquiri for us, although she said that Kevin was the expert mixologist. Violet's drink was good, but when Kevin arrived later and made a fresh mango daiquiri, I understood what she meant. Outstanding drink! I ordered a conch burger and my wife ordered fish n chips. The fish was sea bass and it was very tasty. My conch burger was actually strips of fresh conch deep fried, instead of the ground conch served all over the island. It was delicious!

There are tables and comfy chairs on the deck where you may eat and lounge chairs are provided on the beautiful beach if you would like to simply linger longer with a Kalik or mixed drink, take a nice walk on the beach, or a cool dip. They even have a foot shower to get the sand off your feet. It would be very easy to spend hours there. If you enjoy great food and beverages at a glorious setting prepared and served by wonderful people, Shoreline Beach Club is a must-visit for your Exuma vacation!
