4C's can't be responsible for the weather, but the boat should be better quality for the number of people on board (maybe 30 people packed in like sardines) and for the distance traveled for the day. Part of the metal side screen was about to fall off and could easily have knocked someone out. There was no windshield to block the water from hitting people in the face. We felt like we were refugees packed onto Maid of the Mist for a full day tour. Even the Canadians on the tour were cold.

No refreshments provided for a full day tour. No bathrooms on board so you have to hold it until lunch, or until snorkeling at the Grotto. Swimming with the pigs was not more than 10 min. We never swam with the sharks.

Grotto and pigs were the highlights of the tour, but too short compared to the amount of time needed to get there. Don't advertise that refreshments are provided when they are not.

“Swimming with the Pigs on our Honeymoon=Fantastic”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

Captain Andrew was great! We loved this tour. Highly recommend.
They picked us up and dropped us off at our resort at Sandals.
It was an all day tour of swimming with the pigs, thunderball grotto, feeding iguanas, seeing stars homes, lunch (that you pay for and that is overpriced), sand bar, and a long boat ride. We loved every minute of it. The water was so beautiful and just got prettier and prettier as we went on. The sand bar was amazing and Andrew let us swim around and take our time with pictures and such. The pigs were huge he told us that they were all pregnant. However they did swim to us to get food. Thunderball grotto was amazing but you have to beware of the sharp rocks. My husband got hurt on his head by coming up too early from under water.
Overall great trip!!!

“Rushed and Boring”
Reviewed December 21, 2012

Andrew and Smiley were our guides. While Smiley was extremely quiet, Andrew could use a lesson in customer service. He was on his cell phone most of the time. The tour felt more like a LONG water taxi ride. We did see the islands owned by the rich and famous (from far way) and the tour operator wasn't at all enthusiastic about taking us to any of the major attractions like the "Thunderball Grotto," & swimming with the pigs. When we did stop at the grotto and other attractions on the brochure, we were rushed by Andrew, because he said he had to get things ready for the arrival of Tim McGraw, since his family was arriving for Thanksgiving and Andrew was giving them a ride to their island. They advertise a visit to a sandbar, but we were told it wasn't possible for us. A big let down as we were really looking forward to that part of the tour. There was no such thing as a bathroom on the boat, so you better hold it for as long as you can. They only serve water and soda's..no beer and no snacks for a full day tour (in our case it only lasted half a day, but we were asked to pay the full price). For one hundred and sixty per person the day trip was a waste. Our lunch stop was at Staniel Cay Yacht Club, where they served over-priced fried fish and chicken sandwiches. Towards the end of our tour, Andrew cancelled our taxi ride back to the resort and didn't inform Smiley. So 4 of us were almost left stranded thanks to their lack of communication. Thanks to Smiley for giving us a ride back to the resort. Avoid 4C's and instead book something a bit more personal with Coastline or try one of the other outfits on the island.

“The kittens mittens”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

Smiley picked us up all the way south of Georgetown - unlike other reviews that say they only pick up from resorts - we had door to door service from our villa. We were picked up promptly at 7:30 as planned, picked up a few other guests and headed to the boat. We then met captain Andrew (who is hilarious and very personable) and went on our way. We checked out quite a few private islands and some very cool sites and then headed up to thunderball grotto. We went snorkeling in the grotto and I took underwater pictures and videos while smiley threw bread for the fish so they would flock around. This made for some really cool videos and a great experience. After snorkeling we fed the swimming pigs and went up to swim with the (tame) nurse sharks. The sharks are at a private marina, which charges $10 a person to throw them fish scraps while you swim with them, but it is definitely worth it. The marina is also a good bathroom stop. After we left the marina we headed to the Staniel Cay Yacht Club for lunch - there is a sunken drug plane outside the island air stip which was also really cool - anyways on to the food. The yacht club had great food and drinks and was also where the cast from bond movies hung out while filming thunderball and for your eyes only. The yacht club is a very neat spot in the middle of all the private islands. Somewhere along the line we stopped at a sand bar with the craziest sand I have ever felt. Very hard to explain but it was incredible to experience.
Captain Andrew stopped at an island to show us (and let us feed) the iguanas and then we were back at the dock by 4:00.
Smiley drove us all back to our resorts and houses and I would have to say this was te coolest/best/most valuable experience I had while visiting the exuma cays!
Cheers and thanks to Andrew and smiley!

What a beautiful and unforgettable day we had in Exuma Cays on November 28, 2012. I completely agree with the reviews that are positive! It was so much fun and such a great way to explore the Cays! My father who is 69 and I were so impressed with each and every activity we did. Cap'n Andrew and Smiley were so courteous and knowledgable about their home. I am ready to go back as soon as possible! Hi guys! Kristin and John
