Loved this wide carribean beach...great for snorkeling and strolling and sunsets!! However, had big jelly fish on beach. We learned later they were moon jellyfish and not harmful

A bit difficult to find, and not great to get to down the track unless you have a 4x4. I had a Lincoln Towncar... but I made it.
Since Sandy... the beach still has lots of seaweed on it and a few non-dangerous jellyfish in the water... snorkelling on the right hand side by the rocks was not that great, although I did see a small sting ray a couple metres out amongst the rocks... but the beach/setting is lovely... take your own chairs with you..and some drinks.. as there is not a cafe on the beach.
The beach is shallow, and swimming is easy... i spent a couple days on the beach, and enjoyed it...

We loved Ten Bay! We visited the week after Hurricane Sandy and were not disappointed. There was a wall of seagrass a few feet tall all along the beach but it was up shore enough that you still had plenty of beach. We found sand dollars and plenty of shells. Not much luck bone fishing and the water was chilly, but with that said it was amazingly serene and just beautiful. Wonderful beach for sunsets! One of the easiest beaches to find :-)

Probably not quite at it's best after Sandy, however we loved this beach for its calm, shallow water and the great shelling (sand dollars can be found here).

What a beautiful beach! Unfortunately, due to Hurricane Sandy the beach right now is a bit messy with seaweed and the trees are brown from the salt. That said, the water was gorgeous and filled with tons of fish. We saw a red lipped batfish and a few sting rays amongst the various other fish. The water was so peaceful and calm.
