This restaurant, the old Four Points, is located just on the north side of Rock Sound. It is located on a beautiful beach with al fresco and inside dining. The menu has both traditional Bahamian food (mac n'cheese, grouper fingers), AND unexpected entrees like: sushi, crafish quesadillas,
molten lava chocolate cake. The chef is cordon bleu trained, and it shows! Awesome local drinks too: pirates revenge, goombay punch, and delicious pina coladas.
My one complaint is that is pricey: but worth it for a special dinner/lunch.

Our group of 8 arrived only to be told they had a cruise ship group arriving in 15 minutes. We were in awe at the competency of the staff who served us drinks and gave us our menu's. Then they brought through 65 folks from Princess Cruises...fed them, gave them drinks, a conch salad cooking demonstration and some island dancing and music. All in 30 minutes to our astounded delight. THen they all left....our order was taken! We had a great lunch before heading out to find the Ocean Hole in ROck Sound. We enjoyed the entire thing!

Stopped by here on our way to the beach and even though the sign out front said closed, they were open. We were the only ones there for the first half of our meal, but soon the place began to fill up with boaters anchored in Rock Sound. We had great drinks, great food, and a great time. The service was attentive and the server was a blast. We will return.

Location of Pascals is amazing, located just outside of Rock Sound, you can sit outside under a canopy shade and watch the boats come and go. Food is fresh, their conch fritters are my favorite on the island. Rum drinks are plentiful and delicious.

I have visited, worked, and played in the Rock Sound/Tarpum Bay area three times this year. I know every eatery and every "take-out" option for visitors or second home owners and I can say that local food is generally healthy, basic, and Bahamian "tasty" everywhere. While I appreciate those other restaurants, Pascal's is my favorite place to go, sit, sip, dine, enjoy the view, and relax because the chef (Pascal) has experience in fine restaurants, is a genius with local fish, lobster, and vegetables, and the setting is open and beautiful. No two dinner menus are alike because there are always new fresh food to vary the meals. The women who serve are charming and you can dress up or just wander in wearing your shorts and flip-flops. The beautiful view over Rock Sound Harbor is unbeatable. I'm from the SF Bay Area and am used to great dining options so I can honestly say this is the place in central Eleuthera you'll like best if you too like to eat well at a higher level than neighborhood food. Oh, and the selections of Chilean and Australian wines were super too. It seems a little bit more pricy than the local take out, but it's 100% worth the bit more you pay.
