“Lovely Pink Sand”
Reviewed April 23, 2012

If you have the opportunity to visit this you should take the time to do so. The cave is amazing and if you walk down to the beach you will see the beautiful pink sand beach. Of course as is the case with most of the beaches in Eleuthera, you will have it to yourself.

“Interesting”

The drive there is long but very interesting - banana trees and citrus fruit trees. The cave is huge but be careful of wasps.

“Preacher's Cave, North Eleuthera, Bahamas”
Reviewed March 19, 2012

Giant cave with opening in the ceiling where light comes thru. The Eleutheran Adventurers crashed near here and lived and worshiped in this cave and then moved to Spanish Wells. They have done archaeological digs here and gone back many thousands of years to find the bones of small indians that occupied the area. A man named Mr. Jock Morgan in Spanish Wells was in charge of the dig and is very knowledgeable if you look him up there.
