Owner description: Window-like geological formation that provides a unique view from bay to ocean.

The Glass Window is a beautiful, awesome, slighly frightening attraction that should not be missed. Thankfully, the road has been upgraded somewhat so at least there are barriers on either side (save for the one section that was damaged). In a storm or rain, this could be a life-threatening attraction. However, on a calm day, it is not only interesting, but the only way to get to the far end of Eleuthera. The sign to the attraction is faded and it really seems like the tourism department is missing a great opportunity to promote this picturesque and unique location. But, be very careful is you get out to take pictures. If the waves don't get you, the crazy traffic on the single-lane bridge might!

This bridge to the North side of the island allows you to see the Atlantic and the Carrbbean at the same time. The colors are amazing and is probably the main attraction of the island.

No place to park to really observe. Can be a little dangerous getting out of the car! It was interesting to see the two waterways come together, but I did not feel it was really worth a special drive unless you were going that direction. We just enjoyed relaxing on the BEAUTIFUL beaches much more than spending time driving.

I have gone over the tiny Glass Window Bridge many times over the years. It is the gateway between the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean, just a narrow sliver separates the two major bodies of water. On the eastern side is the deep and dark blue Atlantic. On the western side is the shallow turquoise Caribbean. The two come together here and it is an amazing site! Climb the rocks and take some beautiful photos with your loved ones. We did and will do it again on our next trip!

The Caribbean and the Atlantic are always mere feet from meeting. The bridge is terrifying in itself being as it's one lane wide and the "railing" is some short blocks of wood...where it hasn't fallen off. Traverse the bridge and rocks carefully and be in awe of the natural force of the ocean versus the calm sea.
