Visited in August 2013. Leon is open again for lunch and dinner (but call first). Sunday live music "rake and scrape" at 2pm. The conch fritters were excellent as was the cracked crawfish special. A bit expensive though (charged $10/each for a children's fruit punch and i only found out after the kiddies each drank 2!) and the cracked crawfish lunch was $25. But overall a very nice location on the waterfront at Bottom Harbour. I will definitely go again next time. Leon is a class act and a very interesting guy to chat with.

“Excellent goombay and conch fritters with no crowd”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Love going to visit Leon at Bottom Harbour , you can take a water taxi here from Harbour Island it is very close or if you have a rental boat it is very easy to get to as well. Ramora bay also has paddle boards which would make it a fun day out on the water. Bottom Harbour serves great food and cocktails because it is not located on Harbour Island it has no crowd and you have the beach there all to your self usually unless you go on a Sunday when Leon has a barbecue and steel band.

“great day with sea turtles”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2013

follow the map to Bottom Harbour. My wife and I were the only ones on this huge beach all day except for a family of sea turtles that we followed for hours. Bottom Harbour Beach club is right on the beach and we were the only ones there. Leon is the owner of the bar and he made us some great drinks and food. He really helped us find the best places to snorkel and visit on the island.

“Botom Harbour Club”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 7, 2013

This is the real 100% authentic Bahamian experience. Great beach, nice people, great food, no stress. Fabulous in the summer when the water is tepid. Out of a movie or a Ministry of Tourism brochure. My only objection is the occasional music which disturbs the peace. But you can't escape loud music in the Bahamas, unfortunately.

Breakfast: Tasty grits and fresh eggs. Lunch: try the fried chicken and rice or bbq ribs- Very good potato salad and coleslaw too. Full bar, juices, and coffee. Comfortable bright dining area. Friendly service. Enjoy the beach and pier-Sea turtles everywhere! Great snorkling North of here at Cistern cay.
