The perfect view over a pristine beach.

We were served by a very charming young man called Yianni. He was very helpful and kind.

My margarita was very very good, and very very strong. The menu is varied and the food well-presented. Very impressed with the quality.. Will definitely go back when I next return to Eleuthera. This is a little gem of a place

After a week in GHB we finally ate at The Beach House. Had great spicy shrimp, shrimp pizza, margarita, greek salad, grouper fingers. The staff/owners were awesome. They tolerated our 50 questions about their life, the island, etc. could not have been more delightful. Also, the view from the porch was incredible. Birds eye view of the beach we have been swimming in all week.

Two adults and an 8-year old easily found many items on the tapas menu to keep us happy on a Saturday afternoon. The vibe was beachy-cool-chic but not pretentious in any way. We felt like we were spending our afternoon in the scene of a movie. Our server was great, but there were two other staff who seemed annoyed that we were there (we were the only customers for a few hours that afternoon). However, we were also warned by locals from Nassau that people in Eleuthera could range from very friendly to somewhat distant, and we did see examples of both. After a great lunch, we spent the day on what has to be the best beach on the island (and we visited at least 7-beaches during our stay). No one seemed to care as we walked back through the bar after we were done at the beach. This really must be one of the best places to eat in all of Eleuthera.

Everything that our picky family of 16 ordered was truly enjoyed and delicious. You cannot go wrong with this restaurant. Make sure to call before you visit as the restaurant is not always open for dinner on all days of the week. Must visit this restaurant during your Eleuthera trip.

The location in an old beach house is ideal to get a real feel for living on the island. The food was especially good. Check out the conch and lobster fritters which were excellent. The service is very warm and friendly and the menu is more than just tapas so you can get a full meal as well as lighter fare. We will go back on our next visit. They are open just two nights a week (Thursday with a band and Monday) but every day for lunch. You can spend hours on the beach and just walk up to the bar for a cold High Rock. Very sweet day.
