This was our first meal for our family of four after arriving on Eleuthera. Very easy to get to right off the Queen's Highway south of Governors Harbor and food is traditional local faire. We had grouper and conch which you will find that most places on the island deep fry. So good! Oh, and conch fritters too. Yummy! You can choose to eat inside or out but either way make sure you "bug up" and apply whatever you can to keep the no-see-um's at bay. You're right on the beach so just be cautious. Service was excellent and food arrived fairly quickly. Total bill was around $70 and remember as with most island restaurants a gratuity is already included. Would highly recommend for families.

Our party of 6 went there on the last day of our Eleuthera vacation. My wife and I went there earlier that day to examine the menu, setting and that the drinks would meet our "low" standards. We got there about an hour before sunset and sat on the outside deck for about a half hour enjoying some pre sunset libations before it became retreating inside due to the bugs. The photographers in our group weathered in the insect assault and hung around for the sunset which unfortunately was just average. As for the food, you do have the typical fried Bahamian choices and also some elegant choices (remember this is all relative). I had a seafood Alfredo that was pretty good, creamy and loaded with local seafood (not fried). Others in our group had crawfish (code for lobster), steamed grouper, & the ubiquitous conch salad. Service was slow but attentive. The focus of this restaurant is the outside deck with sweeping views of the Caribbean. Inside, there's not much ambiance other than the camaraderie of great friends.

Lionel and his team do a great job here. Great place for local fare (conch fritters, conch snack, grouper fingers, etc). Beautiful location in Governor's Harbour. Our family eats here often when on Eleuthera, and we recommend to others.

Our flight was delayed 2 1/2 hours so by the time we drove to our rental then went out for dinner it was almost 9PM. When we arrived at the Sunset Inn they were closing but stayed open to serve our party of four. We were so thankful! Nice large patio outdoors overlooking the ocean. We all enjoyed fried grouper finger and wings - loved the grouper the wings were okay. We had ice cold beers too. Thank you to the staff that stayed late to serve us!!!!

The best part of this restaurant was the view of the Caribbean. I enjoyed sitting outside and hearing the waves go back and fourth. The good was great and I am still craving the pancakes. The chicken fettucini Alfredo was great too. Another place I will return to!
