Buy a tide chart and figure out the times for low tide. This place is so much fun and we always set up "camp" on the sand bar and lay on air matress hovering around the shore. How peaceful, how blissful!

Beaches are in short supply on Elbow Cay. This is a nice public beach. You will probably need a golf cart to get to it. Very limited signage. Follow the road to the end, just before you reach the docks at the end of the Cay, and before an extension to the road goes up hill, you will see a parking lot for golf carts on the left. Park and walk towards the dock, looking left, away from the dock. The beach is on your left, almost unmarked.

This is a must stop! The beach is beautiful, the sea life amazing! We anchored and took our dingy onto shore and spent hours roaming the sand and water!

It is a very safe environment for children and beautiful for adults. The visitors have done an excellent job not leaving trash behind. Tahiti Beach is pristine and truly lovely.

When you think of paradise, think of Tahiti Beach at the south end of Elbow Cay. A perfect white sand, crystal clear water sand bar that is unbelievable!
Shallow water goes out quite a way and the sand bar's personality is fun to watch through tidal changes.
