“Beautiful beach”
Reviewed June 28, 2014

My eight year old daughter and I went after seeing one cave at Lucayan National Park. The park was disappointing, but this beach was amazing! It was secluded, clean, and beautiful. We spent about an hour just swimming in the ocean.

“Fines beaches”
Reviewed April 30, 2014

My wife and I love to travel the US east coast and Caribbean. My wife is also a diver and has visited many of the Caribbean islands. We both agree that this is our favorite beach by far, and she will go as far as to say her favorite place on earth. Every time we get to Grand Bahama this is a destination. Be sure to pack for the day and even so leaving will be a regret. The $5 fee includes the fresh water caves and loop trail as well as the new boardwalk over the mangroves to the beach. There is also a swamp trail to the beach, which can be a little wet at high tide. You will see more nature here than almost anywhere else in Grand Bahama.

“Wow!”
Reviewed April 22, 2014 via mobile

The Lucayan park is neat to see but take a walk on the open beach and see pure beauty in nature. Untouched beach that has high/low tide every 12 hours. Take lunch and some drinks and relax alone as a couple in true paradise, it does not exist in this way anywhere else in the South.

“Cost”
Reviewed April 11, 2014 via mobile

I live here on grand baham, and always take our visitors there, so I was shocked at the amount it had gone up since our last visit, can't there be a reduction for residents.

“Best Beach on Grand Bahama Island”
Reviewed April 5, 2014

This is one fabulous, nearly deserted beach. Bring a lunch and a beach umbrella and your swimming stuff and spend the day. They have a "private" area where a tour company brings their folks, but there's also a free picnic table on the hill above the beach in the shade at the west end of the area. It's beautiful!
