The location was within walking distance to the beach with water that was clear & clean. The room was newly remodeled, spacious and quiet. In fact,
that week there were only a few guests and thus we had the pool almost entirely to ourselves. As we relaxed on our hammocks, the bartender served delicious Pina Coladas--perfect way to spend a day! Best of all, the staff was friendly & accommodating! The restaurant food was good although service was rather slow. As it happened, we arrived during a slow period so there was remodeling of clubhouse on our first day (noisy) but after that, it got very quiet! If you want to get away to just rest & relax, this place is quite suitable!
I am very upset. I had a vacation booked through RCI for May 20th. 2 weeks prior to leaving I got a call from RCI saying the resort had canceled due to rewiring. I had time and money invested in this vacation. But the kicker...The resort IS available for $1832 for the week. Guess RCI is not good enough for them. So very upset :(
I can't say enough about the resort and the staff. The accommodations were great and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and part of the "family". Thanks again for making this vacation a fabulous one!!
My husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here and we couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. We wanted someplace nice and relaxing and we found it here at Seabreeze. The beach was across the road and we spent time everyday relaxing on the beach The food at the on-site restaurant was excellent, however the service was extremely slow. We didn't rent a car, but instead relied on their taxi service. We couldn't have asked for a better condo, the furnishings were exquisite and the view of the ocean was great (we were in unit 3). I have saved the best for last - the staff at Seabreeze is the best. They did everything they could to make our stay a memorable and pleasant one . Thank you Seabreeze staff for all that you do for your guests!!!
This resort was comfortable to live in, lovely to look at and more than all that, the friendly and helpful staff made it a great vacation.
Tarah, Addie, CJ, Ashley, Eleanor, Robin, all helped towards making our holiday a fun and enjoyable one. They would go out of their way to help us with planning our activities and make it seem like it was no problem at all, even if something did change like the timing of certain activities due to the fact that we may have been busy...... :)
We just returned from a week's vacation there and enjoyed some good food at the resort and fun activities like snorkeling, jet skiing, power boat rides and a banana boat ride. An added bonus was making friends with some of the other guests......and walking for just a minute to hit the beach.
Have just returned from a week's stay at Sea Breeze, and miss our staff 'family' already. Tarah, Addy, Robin, CJ, Nunu and the rest of the terrific crew made us feel welcome right from our arrival. The units are clean, spacious and nicely appointed, and the common areas comfortable and well maintained. If you need anything, staff goes out of their way to find whatever you require. There are activities offered daily by the resort, from trips to the store for groceries and beverages, to tours of the storm ravaged West End where we enjoyed the best conch salads on the Island. One day was spent snorkeling and fishing with Addy, CJ and Johnny, followed by a fish fry with the collective catch back at Sea Breeze. Delicious food and great company made for a fun evening that allowed staff and guests to get better acquainted and swap stories of the day's events. Jet skis and kayaks are available for guests as well. The nearby beach is just a short walk from the villas, and offers a chance to snorkel close to your lodging.
Food at the MadKap restaurant was very good and as reasonably priced as anywhere other place to eat. Stock up on necessary food items during the grocery run as breakfast is no longer served at the restaurant. Staples such as seasonings (salt/pepper/etc.), butter/oil, bread, eggs, milk/yogurt, fruit and vegetables, coffee/tea/juice, meat, and alcoholic beverages are pricey, but so is everything imported to the Islands. The local beers are tasty and a bargain.
One day was spent on the Jeep Tour which included a drive through one of the pine forests, Garden of the Groves (good food at the restaurant) and the Lucayan National Park with its beautiful beach. We also took a trail ride from the Pinetree Stables through another pine forest and down to the beach. Our guides Linda and Chris were knowledgable and love their horses, the best we have been on in many a trail ride. Their tale of surviving Hurricane Matthew as the winds blew the roof off the stables is amazing. Most of the tours include transportation, so unless you want to have your own means of getting around the Island, a rental car isn't necessary. Taxis are also available, and Tarah will get you transportation for whatever your needs, often at better rates than booking one yourself. An afternoon at the Lucayan Marketplace provides an opportunity to sample any one of a number of the decent restaurant options all in one place.
Tips(15%) and a VAT (value added tax) are included on just about everything one puchases, especially food and drink. Anything above the fixed tip is up to you, but if anyone deserves something extra it is the staff at the Seabreeze for going the extra mile to accommodate their guests and make everyone feel like family. We can't wait to go back!
People were really friendly. Bed and lighting (could not read after dark) were terrible. Rent a car if you stay here or buy grocery to cook meals.
