The best burger I have ever eaten and in this list i include Claridges and the Ritz ! All the "Bar Food" was excellent and the entrainment provided by singing Chef Tim shows he could also have been a brilliant singer. A great night out with top food and entertainment at a reasonable price. P.S. staff / service second to none

Every trip has one experience that makes it a success or failure; Flying Fish is our defining moment.

The food was great, the service was great, the music was great!

Tim ( the owner and chef) takes Sundays off to play live music for his guests.

Thank you guys for making this a trip to remember.

We visited this restaurant recently and were not very impressed with the service, quality of the food and price.
When we placed the order, we were told by the waiter that they did not allow substitutions. A few minutes later, he came back to say that one of the items I ordered was not available and they were going to substitute something else - what happened to "not allowing substitutions?"
Further, the portions were extremely small and not as good as in other restaurants in the area.
We travel to Freeport every six weeks or so and this is the first and last time that we visited this restaurant. There are plenty others that are much better.

Once in a while when both myself and my wife are in the Bahamas, we eat at the Flying Fish Restaurant. The last time might have been last summer. Anyway, last night we had our anniversary celebrations there.
Once again it blew our socks off. We started with a dozen oysters on the patio - the best we have ever had and then continued inside for our supper. Outstanding food and service.
Flying Fish has very few peers in the Bahamas.

Flying Fish provides the epitome of a dining experience. From the ambience of the decor, to the courteous service staff we thoroughly enjoyed dining here. The food is truly the draw to this restaurant. The menu touts many fine delicacies that you would only expect to find in New York or Europe. We so enjoyed our time there, we went multiple times. On Sundays, the owner and chef provided entertainment for everyone on the patio by singing and playing the acoustical guitar. A truly talented young man. His wife is the lady of the restaurant and ensures that everyone who dines here parts with the best meal they could have had. Just be sure to leave room for dessert!
