“Same Ol Tourist Trap”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2012

If you want a tourist trap with overpriced food and the same goods over and over again....then Port Lucaya is for you. This port was created just for the tourist market and includes the usual cruise port suspects; Diamonds International, Del Sol, Cariloha, ect..

“Nice little marketplace”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 14, 2012

This is a nice place to eat and shop and get little goodies to give away when you return home.

The food at Le Mediteranean was delicious as was one of the hosts, George. Very nice!

“If you love shop this place is for you...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2012

We visited port Lucya Marketplace while on a cruise. The Marketplace is decent. There are lots of shops and the people are very friendly. The ladies are willing to bargain with you. Overall it was a nice visit. I would recommend visiting the Marketplace while in Freeport.

“Pushy locals”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2012

The locals in the flea market area were way too pushy! We were extremely uncomfortable! My husband bought something from a small child basically begging. Then the mother snatched the cash from the child's hands.
