Glad we visited this sanctuary. We guided ourselves through the park where they have identified the local trees. Spent a good amount of time at the pond viewing birds. They've sent the flamingos away due to the expense of feeding them, but we found the turtles and birds fascinating. Seeing a very natural woods without lots of imported trees made it feel very real. They keep a one-eyed parrot, a peacock and a red tailed hawk and a boa constrictor and some other snake in large pens for viewing. We also enjoyed seeing orchids blooming near the visitor center.
