“Awesome pina coladas in coconuts”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

I did not actually eat at this restaurant. However, there is a local guy named Felicio who sells fresh coconuts right outside of this restaurant. You can buy just a coconut for 5 dollars or you can buy one with a pina colada in it for 10. And then refills are only 5 dollars. He was so nice and made our experience on the beach so much fun! He even gave us some free shots and did one with us. You should definitely look for him!

“Good Value and Fresh Seafood”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

We spent the day on the beach in front of Billy Joe's; beers were $4.50 each, an order of 8 fritters was $5 and there is large menu board posted; very nice people and there to please. just down the beach there are guys selling 3 for $10 beers out of a cooler, which we bought and then ordered food from Joe's.

“A Short Walk Down The Beach From Lucayan”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

Do not expect to be wined and dined. It is closer to a hole in the wall or a dive bar but, well worth the visit. You are right on the beach, literally. The food is fresh, the food is cheaper than the resorts, the beer is local (Kalik, Sands, Eclipse). The Conch Salad was the best in Freeport. Watching them make it right in front of you was very impressive. The knife skills were awesome to watch. Good people with a good family owned business feel.

“Pleasantly different”
Reviewed January 13, 2014

This place is has beautiful beach views. It was kind of hard to get to because of construction next door and most easily accessed from the beach. Small shack and grill. The food was good and it was a nice break from the other Port Lucaya restaurants but they don't take credit cards and it was not cheap ($65) for lunch for four. The burgers that were raved about in other reviews were a frozen patty overcooked on the grill but the ribs were very tasty.
