“Fun on the beach”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

We actually can here for a geocache and met Tony and Tino as they were opening up the establishment around 11am one day. We came back later in the day with part of our vacation crew and they had a great game of volleyball on the beach with some locals. We had some drinks (try the Miami Vice) and conch of course. All great and good times, thanks Tony

“I'm all conched out, mon!”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

Ended up for lunch at Tony's on Taino while on a recent vacation to "The Islands"! We had a gorgeous, sunny day exploring Freeport and were ready for something to eat. Tony's did not disappoint! We ordered the conch salad and roasted conch. We watched the counter lady mixing up amazing looking tropical drinks and enjoyed the delicious smell of good food being grilled while waiting for our turn to order. After ordering we were able to find a table under some shade, about half of the seating is in the full sun. You can't beat the view from any table you sit at since you are on the beach, but the shaded part does have the best views of the beach. The food came after a little wait (everything is made when you order it, so it isn't fast food fast) and it was worth the wait! The conch salad was awesome with a mingling of flavors of lime, onion, tomato and sweet conch! The roasted conch was a similar recipe and you were served a fresh hot roll along with it. Both staff that day were efficient and friendly. And don't forget your free conch shell with every purchase. Worth a stop if you are in the Taino Beach area!

“Last stop before leaving the Islands”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

Saw the reviews of the restaurant, but was persuaded to go by Tony's daughter Toni, who worked at the English Pub Molly Malone's. Went there for quick meal on the waty to the airport. Could have stayed all afternoon. The grilled Conch sandwich was awesome. Beers cold, right from the cooler. Bring cash, as no credit cards can be accepted. Plenty of parking, but (as in the pictures) there is limited seating.

“Junkanoo Festival-good food, great food, fantastic food!”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

My husband , myself and two of my children went to the Junkanoo festival at Taino Beach. The lobster, shrimp and conch dish from Tony Macaroni was superb! This was one of the FREE attractions offered by Grand Lucayan Resort. we took a charter bus over to the beach, ate , watched and listened to the waves, listened to a live Bahamian band, danced, ate, drank, mingled with the Bahamians. This was FREE and so much fun! The restaurant is on the beach, so you could just sit under the Tiki huts on the deck eat, drink and be merry. Tony was actually at the restaurant fixing the food. Great experience , a MUST do !

“Highlight of our Cruise”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

We took a Carnival cruise from Charleston to Freeport and Nassau. Instead of doing one of the boat excursions I wanted to find a peaceful local beach and have a relaxing day. I found Tony Macaroni's here on Trip Advisor and added it to our itinerary. We pulled into port in the morning and had breakfast on the boat, got our beach gear together and left for the day. The hardest part about this was getting a taxi to take us to Taino beach.. everyone was going to Lucaia and we had to wait til there were enough people to fill up a van taxi to take us to Taino beach. It was maybe a 10min wait.. so not that hard. We then had a 15min drive to the beach. It was $7 per person. Then it was a day in paradise! We were the first ones there, it was about 10:30ish in the morning. We grabbed 2 beach chairs provided by Tony's and opened a tab. A full day of yummy gully wash and daiquiris! We had the conch burgers for lunch and they were delish! We watch a conch demonstration by Tony himself. They also had snorkels to rent for the day. I was content to kickback, read, drink and listen to the local music provided by Tony Macaroni's. My husband and I still say this was the best part of our whole trip. Tony Macaroni's is truly something special, I cant wait to visit again one day. Dont forget to look them up on facebook, so many pictures of their beautiful beach and they will answer any questions about hours of operation, how to get there and updates about storms coming through.
