Great property, gorgeous rooms, nice pools, stunning complex, very well trained staff. The lazy river is stupidly fun. The downside? Salad and a perrier at the pool - $30+, 2 drinks - $30+. Take your visa and have a healthy spending limit. After the first 3 charges we just stopped looking at the amounts and just signed away. We had a great time!

My husband and I stayed at the Cove Feb. 10th to the 15th. It is a beautiful hotel with large clean very comfortable rooms, lovely gardens and streams. The staff and locals are very friendly and helpful. The Cove is not inexpensive but we knew that before leaving. They also add a 15% gratuity on everything but we always add a little extra since we tip 20% in the states anyway.

The pools and beach we very nice and not very crowded. Overall we had a great time and would return again.

Outstanding time! We had a two queen bed Ocean Deluxe room. Extremely modern, high tech with two 42 plasma's and internet, plus Bose speakers. Awesome, large bathroom. Beautiful view of the ocean staying on the 17th floor. Service was outstanding, not sure how some reviewers have stated rude experiences. Bohemian people were some of the nicest people we have ever met. We ate breakfast buffet at Mosaic - excellent too. We had dinner at Poop Deck, Fish Fry (twice) and at Dune. All outstanding. Really enjoyed having the authentic Bohemian food at Poop Deck and Fish Fry.

Did the Dolphin Experience at Atlantis - worth the money. Also got to get up close and personal with sea lions too! Last day took the Powerboat Adventures tour which was a blast. Beach at the Cove/Reef was fun. Snorkeled their and saw a lot of different fish. Pools at Cove were also fun - very relaxing and seemed less crowded than other areas.

Atlantis is definitely a great time. Cove is worth it!!! A+++

We arrived to the hotel and the lobby/reception area was gorgeous, with a Japanese spa-like look.
-The rooms were nice not amazing. The balcony was very tight, too small to even eat breakfast on. A major problem was that there was no internet service for the week we were there, and my husband had to go down to the business center and pay each time as oppose to using his laptop with their "free" internet service. The service was not great, our room got cleaned at about 2:00 each day and they gave out tiny water bottles. The bathrooms were nice but not great. We ordered room service and it came later than they said each time we ordered.

-The Cain pool was really nice, we rented the beds on the water and it was really nice, however even if you reserve it, they will give it away if youre not down by about 11 o'clock. The drinks were not great they came melted quite often. The pool area was really beautiful. We didnt even go to the beach. The nice thing about staying at the Cove as oppose to the other towers at the Atlantis was the small casino at the bar they had there. It was much less noisier than the huge casino at Atlantis.

- Another thing that really bothered me was that you had to pay to use the fitness room. I would expect that staying at the Cove would entitle you to have free use of the gym.

Basically, it was definitely not worth the money, I would not return. Next time my husband and I go to the Bahama's we will stay at the One and Only or The Four Seasons Great Exuma.

My husband and I stayed for 7 nights w/ 3 kids; ages 11, 9, 3 in February 2008. I will outline the great points and not so great points:

Great- Hotel is stunning, room was clean and large (ocean front w/ queen beds (780 FSF), staff was friendly (not overly), daily activity sheet at base of exit doors was nice, Mosaic for dinner was very good (spendy), lifeguards wanted to be at work and had great attitudes., USA today on door each morning.

Not so great- a few bad days w/ housekeeping, shuttles were long waits at times, spa was dated and staff was rude, internet went down daily (major hassle), many employees were bummed to be at work and showed it,.

The resort was fun for kids, especially the lazy river and water slides. They walked with the sharks and thought it was fun. The gameroom was great for kids and club rush, too. We didn't do the kids club as its 65.00 per night X 3 kids- too much for older kids.

It was difficult to get food for the kids in The Cove except for room service. Mosaic charges so much for kids and even 3 year olds. Breakfast @ Mosaic is $125.00 for a family of 5. Waters Edge & Marketplace are less expensive and the food isn't much different. The presentation is better @ Mosaic but that's it.

The food gets terribly expensive and we went in accepting that, but after 4 days, it gets old. There is a lot to do there and my kids want to go back, but if you want top level service, this isn't the spot. Their working through major service issues and consistency. I think it would be nice if they had refreshments in the receptiona rea for guests as you spend a lot of time waiting for shuttles or stopping in to see the concierge. It would also be nice if they had some chocolates at turndown as an added touch/amenity.
