I had thought from previous reviews this would be a nice place to visit, close to hotel, comfort suites, but it's basically just a bar with a canopy over it and a few picnic tables. Drinks were fine, but tried the conch fritters, not impressed, mostly dough, had sandwiches, very slow service, they got my wifes order wrong. The cooking is done in a trailor hidden by the bushes, I would not want to see what it looks like in there. fries were mostly grease, sandwiches just ok, pool did not look inviting. Seems it's more a place for locals to hang out and get drunk. We would not go back. View wasn't even good, just a few old boats blocking the scenery

I have been to Green parrot many times over the past few years and I have to say they have the BEST burgers around!!!!
No jokes! It's all pub food here but not only do they have the best beef burgers but thy have an amazing veggie burger too!!!

And the conch fritters amazing here!
The local guys are making then so they are as food if not better than Potters Cay.

Great "beach" pub relaxed vibe if that's what your after! Tend to be quieter during the week but weekend are usually busy.
Best part is you can bring your boat from the main land.

My family and I dined at the Green Parrot on our second evening on Paradise Island. It was a quick walk from our hotel (Comfort Suites) near the bridge leaving the island. We ate there late in the evening, so it was not crowded. Service was slow (as is with most dining establishments in the Bahamas), the beer was cold, and the food was good (quesadillas were over salted, pulled pork was good). It is a great outdoor dining experience...a bar with no walls...all open air! The only thing that lit up the restaurant were the Christmas lights hung around the main bar and the TV's, so sitting at the table was difficult to read menus, etc. The nicest thing about the restaurant is the view of the marina and the cold beer. Try it, you may like it!

Located in the shadows of the bridge heading off of Paradise Island, the Green Parrot was a great find. This location is nothing more than a large pavillion over a good sized bar, with some picnic tables around the outskirts.

The view of the yachts at the nearby marina are tremendous. Beer was cold, burger was very good, staff friendly and attentive. Great to step away from the Atlantis Resort for a quiet location with a comfortable feel to it. Although prices are not cheap, it's cheaper than most anything else on the island.

Would give 5 stars except pretty certain someone in our party got food poisoning there - ordered the fish.

This outdoor restaurant and bar is located at the marina,a 10 minute walk from coral towers. It has a central bar, and random picnic tables, scattered about the bar. The atmosphere is very casual, with white, twinkling lights around the restaurant.
The food was simple, burgers, and sandwiches, with cold beer.
We loved the food and location, and it was a nice change from the more upscale places. It had a local, marine crowd, as the boats were tied up nearby. Not a roadside place. $10-18 per meal.
Would go there again.
