“WISH WE COULD RETURN TOMORROW...GREATEST VACATION EVER!!”
Reviewed August 30, 2014

We visited in June 2013 and my only regret is that I haven't written this review a year back. We are from South Africa and did not really know what to expect. What a great place to stay! Everybody was so helpful and always very friendly. The accommodation was also very clean and we had everything we needed and more! It took us 24 hours on an airplane to get there and it was worth every rand that we had to pay.....we wish we could get on the airplane tomorrow to return!!! Thank you for each and everybody at the Beach Club Resort...we had the time of our lives!!! xxxx

Room Tip: We stayed in room 11 at the front...absolutely stunning!! Great beach access!

First the good... the beach is absolutely beautiful! The water is shallow and crystal clear. Having visited in late July it was just the right temperature! The beach chairs and umbrellas were easily acquired and set up. To the east of the property there is a large "rock" with nice sealife around it. The older teenagers enjoyed jumping off the rock (It is deep enough just very uncomfortable on the feet as you step on the rock) and took fantastic pictures underwater. The beach is not crowded at all, very private and even with public access a few feet away there were never any issues with the crowd. The pool area is not large but acceptable. The food at the pool side restaurant was very good. The chicken breast sandwich (blackened) was delicious as was the conch fritters. I mention those specifically but in reality everything we had was very tasty and satisfying. There are bikes available at no charge although not all are in great condition. Beach towels are supplied daily although you do have to go to the front desk to pick them up. The layout of the rooms was wonderful... however, for the not so good now... the rooms do need to be updated as the cabinets are falling off in some places, the formica of the furniture is peeling off in some areas and in general they do need a little maintenance. There is nothing luxurious about the accomodations, but really who wants to be indoors with paradise just a few steps outside?? Be aware that there is a 4% convenience fee charged at the store and at check out if paying with a credit card. You may want to take a check or cash. Also, the convenience store only stocks up once a week and when they run out of an item it is not restocked until the following week so plan accordingly. The store also closes for inventory one full day mid week. All in all I would visit again and "consider" this property because of the amazing beach.

Room Tip: Room 7 was great! You can walk out of the sliding doors and the pool and beach are a few steps away...

We traveled here from July 1-8, 2014 and were sad that we actually had to go back to work! The place was clean, well staffed and very efficient. We will be returning next year for sure. Night life can be found at other resorts which was great for both my husband and I as well as our adult children. The mini- mart was pricey, but now that we know, we will do things differently. We loved the service from each part of this complex but our favorite part was drinks in the water!!! What more could you ask for! The condo was clean and the maid service was excellent! Bahamians are happy people and we felt welcomed and comfortable as guests. A visit with Martha is worth the time. She is a great guide!

Our family of four (parents and adult children) found a reasonable deal here ($300/night) for the July 4 holiday weekend. The individual unit (#43) was remodeled enough that everything was newer and cleaner although the resort itself is not new. Showers had curtains instead of glass doors, which I would have preferred, but at least contained newer one piece inserts that were spotless. Grounds were meticulously maintained. Maintenace on the structure was underway but work and workers were unobtrusive. Chair service (9-5) on the beach was included. Some guests tipped. Pools were clean but mostly empty. Pool areas offered free wi-fi as did an open air common area with 2 comfy seating groups and a ping pong table. For $25 extra, wi-fi was available in-room for up to 3 devices. If you're close to a pool (our unit was immediately adjacent) you can get away with free. There were some children staying here but the majority seemed to be couples - and older couples at that. Quiet at night (no nightlife here) which can be a good or bad thing. For us it was great. Spent all day on a quiet beach, found dinner out and a little nightlife, then returned to a quiet complex that was safe and family friendly. Pool bar by the beach had good drinks - $8 - $10 - and a nice variety. Lunch there was slow, relatively costly, and riddled with flies so we never considered dinner here. Beach towels can be picked up and dropped off from the front desk. Front desk service was friendly and efficient. Bikes and locks are available and we made use of them twice during our stay for a bike ride to Dunkin Donuts and also to Quiznos in Marina Village. The mini mart had cold beer, soda, and snacks. All was obscenely overpriced but since we didn't stop at a grocery store we had to make due. ($9 powdered coffee creamer, really?) This timeshare resort is a 15 minute walk along the beach to Atlantis and, as that was the case, would make a perfect home base for enjoying the quiet as well as the action this island has to offer. Overall we loved our stay on P.I. and at this beach club. We'll definitely be back!

Room Tip: Few rooms are oceanfront - probably numbers 1-10. The rest are garden and grounds view. #43 was furt...

We just returned from our vacation at PIBC. Fantastic! Only 44 units, well kept and right on the beach. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and the grounds are beautiful. When we wanted crowds and noise, just a short cab ride to the Atlantis. Although we had no children with us this year, the resort is a great place for kids, two pools and a fantastic beach. The pool bar staff was great. We had many a laugh with them. Can't wait to return.

This oasis is nestled far enough away from the crowds at Atlantis for a truly relaxing time but not too far that is it difficult to go where the action is. Situated right on a private stretch of beach next to private residences this place is absolutely Paradise! The rooms are always updated and you can select either ocean or garden view rooms, and all are 2 bedroom units. There are 2 pools on the property, one more tucked away for a more relaxed setting and the other next to the ocean with a swim up bar. Did I mention that the bar also serves the best in food as well as a wide selection of local drink favorites? The beach is only a few steps away, and with the newly renovated tiered staircase getting there could not be easier. Forgot something or just need a quick sundry, food or beverage, well no need to run to the grocery since there is a mini (in name ONLY) mart also on the property that is only for resort guests to use.

Room Tip: Best ocean view rooms are 3 or 12 (top floor away from pool), 2 or 11 (middle floor away from pool...

Just returned from PIBC and was thrilled with the gorgeous location, spotless units, and friendliness of the staff. The recent updates in the units are very nice and the welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The prices at the convenience store are higher than we are used to, but they are comparable to other stores in the Bahamas. Overall, we had a fantastic time.
