Made reservations when booking our stay at Atlantis. This was an informative adventure as we learned a lot about the stingrays. We wore life vests and water shoes provided by Atlantis. We were the first feeding of the day. The stingrays rub and swarm around you which is a cool, but slightly strange feeling as you can feel them against your legs. Once they have ate, they calmed down and we were about to snorkel. The experience gave us lots to talk about with our children ages 11 & 9 throughout the trip and often found ourselves coming back to visit the stingrays.

For us this was a once in a life time experience, it was an excursion booked outside from our cruise. This was excellent and cheaper this way. Go figure.

Yes you get to touch sting rays.....No you do not get to swim with them. You stand or sit in shallow water as they are guided up to you. Great for little kids or people afraid of water. Not much of an excursion. Especially for the price. The only way to hey pics is to buy them. Cost START at 89.00 and go up.

I am not a swimmer. I was excited to go in with the stingray but I was a little nervous. The water was little cold as we went in we forgot about it. They provide snorkeling gear,. I used it but not sure how clean was that. There were so many stingrays. We went in a group of three boats. There were people of all ages including children. But the children got cold in the water so parents have to take them back on the boat. The guides were very helpful and friendly. They hold the stingray and let us touch them and feed them. I'll say it was amazing.
TIPS:
1. Get a wet suit
2. Get a water proof camera otherwise you have to pay for the photos
3. take your own snorkeling gear

Me and the BFF came in August. We purchased the tour thru Royal Carribean for about 30 bucks a person. There was well over 30 stingrays that we got to feed and touch. We got to hold starfish, conch, and a slimey sea slug as well. The guides were awesome and super friendly. The boat ride to and from the location was breezy so hold on to your weave! Definitely a cool experience!

My wife and I did this Excursion through Carnival cruises and had a really nice experience with the Stingrays.
The trainers took their time and explained what to do and what not to do and everything went well with plenty of opportunities to interact with the Rays.
We had read previous reviews on TA and brought our own snacks and beverages.
the beach area was nice and clean
We caught and earlier boat back to the cruise ship dock to have a little extra time in Nassau.

A cruise excursion. Had the best time with the family! Capt Chester & staff were ver knowledgable. Definitely worth the price. Never in my life expected to ever hang with stingrays.

We landed after a choppy boat ride. The dock on this end of the excursion was much better. We first had lunch. Lunch was over a hundred and twenty US dollars for four sandwiches, four bottles of water and four bags of chips. The resturant was understaffed with only tow people. It took us well over an hour to get our food. We missed our excursion swimming with the sting rays. Really? The beaches were well stocked with lounges and beach chairs but so close together it was hard to make you way to the beach and the surf. The beach itself was clean but the bottom of the wading area was filled with pieces of coral making it difficult to walk. Not the best beach I have been to. The people were very friendly though

It was the highlight of our trip. I could not believe we were standing on the sandbag with these gorgeous creatures floating around us. The gentlemen instructed us how to react to them and helped us hold these lovely specimens. Never could I believe I would have been experiencing the thrill of holding a 150# Ray!
