My husband and I took a trip to see the swimming pigs July 16, 2016. The tour we had did not have pick up and drop off so you have to drive to Marina Bay a few minutes earlier which is not a problem for us at all. We were greeted by Grouper and he was already pleasant the first time he saw us. Our boat was called the "huntress" and had 10 seats available for passengers. I would have to point out that you don't "sit" on this boat but you straddle it which I did not mind at first. It was actually cool it felt like I was riding a roller coaster but with me being too short and with bumpy waves it was hard at some point to keep my legs relaxed. I'd suggest you sit on the very back close to the Captain as there is space for you to stand and the back is not as bumpy. So it's not really good for kids too small/young I think. Shorter people, like me, will manage :) Anyway, Captain Darren was with us and made sure we had a safe trip going there and back. Pig Beach was pretty clean despite the notion of having pigs on the island. The piggies come in all shapes and sizes and as long as you have food they will come to you. Don't be intimidated by the bigger ones but don't get to comfy either just to be safe. Harbour Safaris bring not only food for us to feed to the pigs but they were also thoughtful enough to provide the pigs with fresh water which I think was very kind. This trip was one of the highlights of our vacation and it definitely did not disappoint. Just be prepared to ride the "Huntress" as it is not the most comfortable ride for everyone but I can assure you the trip with this team was definitely worth it! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
