There is really nothing to complain about here! The food is great, well seasoned and extremely generous portion sizes! The steam fish and baked macaroni is the best! First was introduced to this restaurant by Earl out taxi driver in August and we went back again in Dec! Would recommend!

All the standard Bahamian favourites overlooking the water. Food was good (fried grouper) and service great, particularly by Bahamian standards. Friendly and efficient. Water view isn't much, but it beats being cooped up between four walls on a warm day.

This is our fourth trip to the Bahamas but our first time at Anchorage. The atmosphere is very casual, the service is like a good diner. The food is the best that we have had on the island at pretty much any price (we normally stay at Atlantis). The grouper in tin foil was excellent and the conch was very good as well. The price, as mentioned, was well below resort prices and the food was more enjoyable. We will definitely be back on our next trip.

We were headed over to the Fish Fry and looked at a few potential spots. One of our party wanted to be by the water for the evening so our cab driver recommended The Anchorage. We LOVED it. The food was fresh and tasty! The service was lovely. Our server, Agie, was pleasant and seemed really pleased that we were happy. We all tried the grilled grouper which came in a tinfoil pouch with onions and peppers. It was healthfully prepared and a very generous portion. The Mac and Cheese side and fried plantain were excellent. We started with a conch salad which was also very tasty and very healthy. We split the Guava Duff for dessert and it was WONDERFUL. Very casual open restaurant overlooking a small inlet. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Anchorage is off the main drag of the Cay. Evening meal on a Sunday, so it was quieter. The conch salad was great, fritters I'd rank #2 on the Cay. Waitress was slow. Food was well prepared and right. I have had larger portions for less on the Cay, but for the view and quiet allowing us to carry on a conversation it was worth it that night.
