My fourth or fifth here. My family decided to go to dinner at Fish Fry. The atmosphere was great and the food was good. We ordered the conch salad with requested very little pepper. Despite our request, the conch salad was very spicy and the children could not eat it. The conch fritters were very tasty but again very spicy. The prices are higher than the other restaurants at Fish Fry, but the experience was a cut above the rest. Would continue going back, but the cooks need to go easy on the pepper.

My wife and I walked down to the Fish Fry to check it out and possibly catch some dinner. We stopped here because they had some live music after walking the entire Fish Fry. We sat at the outside bar and ordered some local beer. We asked for a menu to see if we wanted to order some dinner, we decided to pass since we felt fried food out (yes I know we went to a location known as the Fish Fry). So we decided to keep drinking, many locals at the bar beer was only $3.75, the bartenders are attentive, and we paid cash and NO 15% service fee, I felt so good about this I tipped 20%! We went back to the Fish Fry area the night R-Kelly was playing and it was crazy busy with locals and tourists. We did find out the Taxi drivers get a buck for every person they bring to Frankies and Twin Brothers which is why those two are full of tourists and all the other joints have locals.. Humm.. What does that tell you.. ?

This restaurant is over-priced given that its offerings do not differ much from it's chicken shack a few streets over. Additionally, its service is very unacceptably slow.
