We actually went twice, to two different restaurants. Easy to get to from either downtown or Cable Beach by taking the #10 bus. Menus at all of the places seem to be very similar. There are so many places I am not sure there is a way to choose just by walking past and looking at their menus. I would ask a few people (cab drivers, hotel staff, etc.) and see where they recommend. We did that and it worked out pretty well. Food was good, but probably not the healthiest (most things are fried and not a lot of veggies). But if you have a chance, something you should definitely try in Nassau.

This is also called the Fish Fry which is a neighborhood of small restaraunts offering very good local fare. It is not fancy but the food is good and it is a fun atmosphere with many outdoor bars and activities.

This has about 20 bars and restaurants each with their own unique way to fix seafood, Eddies was where we found the least expensive drink prices. Alahandros bakes their meals.

nicely organized strip of local restaurants. I had the best fried snapper of my life here topped off with sky juice (a delightful concoction of coconut water, milk and gin). Definitely will be revisited on our next trip to Nassau.

There are a lot of bums there. They make you feel unsafe. However Twin brothers and Oh Andros have the best food on the block.
