“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 28, 2012

Had our own guided tour on a tram for ten dollars a person. Tour guide full of information about the Bahamian slave history, and took her time to answer any and all of our questions. We had the whole park to ourselves and enjoyed a snorkeling cove as if we were on a deserted island. Place to go to get away from the Atlantis and cruise ship crowds and see the real island.

“Didn't see all of it...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2012

But what we saw was okay. I think a guided tour would probably have been the way to go, but we just stumbled upon it during a drive in our rental car. There was a beautiful, quiet point on the water with a little hut to sit in and take pictures.

“Well kept secret”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2012

Good plantation history and tours available. But we went there for the snorkeling. Super fun and a great area to snorkel. Multiple beaches and sites including an old plane wreck. This is one of the sites that Stewarts Cove dive operation takes their customers via boat from downtown.

“A bit of History and Culture”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2012

This is a hike to get to without a car but was worth it. The beach is pretty and calm and there weren't many people there. There were walking trails and you can pay to go in and get a guided tour of the ruins. We didn't actually go in but it seemed like a worthwhile diversion to get some history of the island.

“Al beautiful escape”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2012

It has one of the best beaches in Nassau, the movie Jaws 3 was shot on one side and Deep Blue Sea on the next. It is located on the western cape of Nassau. Very scenic and near to white Sandy beaches. I have went snorkeling there before on western side there is a variety of fish, crawfish, rays and octopus. I suggest packing a good lunch and spending the whole day there, even into the night. During the week it is very quiet. If you are looking for a nice beach This IS IT.
