This is a typical outdoor bar / burger type joint. From what we saw, it was more bar than burger joint. We sat away from the drinkers and out at one of the picnic tables on the dock. The service was typical Bahamian (slow), but the waiter was nice enough.

We had the burgers and fish sandwiches. Both came with fries which were addictive. Some seasoning they use on them makes you eat them all. Both the burgers and the fish were good. We actually talked about eating there again but it was raining most of the week and we didn't think that would go over too well.

For three of us, with no alcohol, it was around $50.00. Overall, we'd go there again.

Place recommended by a local, we walked a short distance to the Green Parrot Harbour Side on Bay Street. Some kind of function going on on, but not too crowded, showed up for a late lunch, plus all cruise ships had left. We waited a little to get menus, staff was ok, we ordered 2 burgers, 1 tea, 1 beer, with tax, total $45, ouch, food was okay, I ate 1/2, but 45 bucks, probably will not be back. We sat near water, have a nice view of Atlantis, some construction is going on, building concrete wall or something.

I went there with cuban friends to enjoy Maidi's cuban salsa lessons!!!!.... while there I enjoyed 3 Sangrias and I also tasted its Lobster Biscuit Soup.
The service was great and fast!.
But Maidi salsa lessons were amazing and fun, she has a great energy and as an instructor she is excellent!!!.... Everybody there had a great time....

In a previous review, I mentioned that it was a love hate relationship. I still love their little satellite restaurant across the harbor at Hurricane Hole Marina. But what they have done to the main restaurant on East Bay Street is a travesty.

It used to be a funky place with palm frond umbrellas, wooden tables, an indescribable view of the harbor and a peaceful repose in a bustling part of Nassau. There was a quaint little mini canal where the conch guy would pull up and make you a conch salad to go with your restaurant meal. Well, they paved paradise and they put up a parking lot. Take a look at the pictures taken yesterday.

They ripped up their little patio restaurant and made a concrete jungle that is dark and dank. On top of that, they filled in the quaint little mini-canal, and they built a marina in front of the restaurant with a whole tangle of concrete and docks. So much for the lovely view from the Bay Street side. I had a Kalik beer and fries. The fries were incredibly brown and overdone. The local Kalik cost me $5 which isn't bad.

They still have the same friendly staff, but they ruined a charming place.

You really can't beat the location. Very relaxed atmosphere to just hang out and have drinks. Decent priced food that was very good! I would recommend!
