We've done this tour before and the pirate that greets you and does some other parts in the tour is almost believable as a pirate! His accent, his appearance , and comical but charming demeanor are well worth going to see.He is extremely informed and the $12.00 fee is so inexpensive for the laughs you'll have.

If you love all things pirate, you need to go to the Pirate Museum in Nassau! We were blown away by the detailed recreations of pirate life, a portion of a pirate ship, the town, etc. The exhibits were very informative and the creations very lifelike. It's truly authentic, and it was years in the making.

Our teens went through much more quickly than we did, of course, but we read every placard and found it fascinating (Nassau was the hub of piracy in the Caribbean). Take your time and enjoy it (and the air conditioning!). Then be sure to visit the gift shop, which has some cute and cool items.

The museum is one of the more affordable things to do in Nassau, and it's just at the beginning of the town and near the #10 jitney stop from Cable Beach. Afterward, you can wander around Nassau to shop and have lunch.

Beautifully done, very small, a little pricey but worth the trip. No one mans the exhibits so be aware of others who decide to jump into the exhibit to take pictures.

The museum is very cool. There is a lot of history and you can spend a lot of time in there. There were not as many artifacts as I was hoping and it seemed a little bit more geared towards children. Totally worth a visit if you are in the area though.
