Powerboat Adventures provided a really well organised and enjoyable day out - really recommend it to anyone visiting the Bahamas.

The boat trip took @ 60 mins - be warned, if you’re sitting outside, you will get wet! Our first stop was to a small island reserve where we got to feed iguanas - they were totally wild but obviously accustomed to the daily free lunch. We then returned to the boat for the ten minute trip to a private island. Here we were quickly joined by manta rays gathering in the crystal clear shallows. The guides explained clearly how to feed them. We then left the water as the sharks - Caribbean reef, nurse and lemon - became visible. The ‘shark wranglers’ did their thing and it was amazing to see these fascinating creatures up close.

All the while, drinks were being served and the chefs were preparing a delicious lunch. After lunch, the guides provided a demo of how to prepare conch, the national dish. It looked disgusting but I’m told it’s wonderful- I took their word for it!

We then returned to Paradise Island - there was quite a party atmosphere! The cost of the trip was $199 (@£147) but it was so interesting and well organised I’d say it was really good value. The thing I liked about it, and where it differs from some other ‘animal experiences’ is that the sharks and rays are wild, in their natural habitat and treated respectfully. Also the island was beautiful and unspoilt. All the staff were professional and charming, from initial booking onwards. Highly recommended.

I will try to make this short, because we liked this trip so much I don't want to get too long winded.

1. They pick you up at your hotel in the morning and drop you off after so it couldn't be easier to get to.
2. The boat trip out to the island is fun.
3. You get to go to an island where the only residents are iguanas and jump off the boat into amazing, blue tropical waters.
4. You then get to go to a private island where stingrays will swim up on you and you can feed them, the guides rope sharks up on to the beach, you get to see tons of tropical fish, you get to snorkel over a reef and see tons of marine life, you get to see conch salad made and then eat it, and finally you have a wonderful dinner cooked for you. By the way, the whole time on this private island there is also a free open bar.
5. The staff is awesome and super friendly.

I normally don't go on these types of excursions twice, but if we go back to the Bahamas, I guarantee I will do this again.

This was such a great day. You get to see The Bahamas at its finest. Beautiful waters, iguana, stingray, and shark feeding, snorkeling at a gorgeous reef as well as delicious food and drinks. It’s was really cool to see sharks and stingrays up close.

Excellent crew who really participated and made sure everyone had a great time throughout the day. Perfect for families, couples and friends.

If you are looking for that one trip to do while you’re at Nassau, this is the one to do!

Everything on this powerboat adventure is worth the money. Captain Jeriad and his crew were very nice and knowledgeable. The shark, stingray, and iguana encounters were so fantastic. You get to be so close to all the wild life. Snorkeling with the sharks was my favorite part. The lunch was amazing...fresh everything cooked right in front of you! Mahi Mahi, steak, salad, fresh veggies, fruit and tons of booze and beer! All included!!!

This was a fun day out and great value for money. The trip on the boat was very wet so either sit inside or go in suitable clothes. It was fun to sit outside and get lashed by the water. The islands you visit are interesting. It was great seeing the iguanas and feeding them. Not so sure about the shark feeding - it seemed a bit cruel to them. Feeding the Rays was great
The lunch was very good and the bar was open all afternoon. Great trip overall.
There wasn’t much shade so if it’s really hot you may want to take your own
