We were fortunate to be able to find 2 spots left on the Powerboat Adventure when we inquired with our hotel concierge about things to do in the Bahamas. The high speed boat ride was comfortable, and after about an hour we arrived at Allen’s Cay and got to feed the Iguanas. It was pretty amazing. About 30 min. later we departed for the private island of Ship Channel Cay. (Rest rooms are available on the boat and the island). Upon arrival we were offered snacks and drinks, and then we went to the beach and were able to feed the stingrays. Then the guides fed the sharks! Those who wanted to went snorkeling. Snorkel equipment was supplied and underwater cameras were available for purchase. We purchased a camera, but it was very difficult to see what you were photographing. (I would suggest bringing a towel with you). We swam out a bit and ‘drift snorkeled’ back to the beach. They went out snorkeling a few times. We had a delicious lunch – there was something for everyone to eat, vegetarians and meat eaters alike. There was an open bar all day, with name brand liquors, juices, sodas, etc.You had time to swim, just relax on the beach, or explore the island. (Although I wasn't aware of any trails, a few people said they went 'exploring'). The ride back was enjoyable too. We arrived back about 5pm. We had a great day and I would highly recommend the trip.

We spent a day doing their standard package ... and it was a blast. I would highly recommend this trip for families and just about anyone visiting Nassau that wants to get off the island and see a bit of the rest fo the Bahamas. It's just a tiny taste of that ... but a great one. Food is great too.

The adventure was a mix of exciting activities; speed boat, feeding Iguanas and sting rays, wrestling sharks (sort of) and snorkeling. All this plus a good lunch is cramped up in a 6 hour tour! We loved it and do recommend it highly but moving from one activity to the next with hardly any breaks in between makes you feel a bit rushed.
Would be a superb, 5 star, tour if extended by a couple of hours to relax on the island,

This adventure is unforgettable, a truly unique day trip... Only disappointment was that we couldn't stay overnight :( they were all booked up!
Loved every minute of the island feeding sharks, sting rays, great lunch and feeding iguanas!
The ride was amazing and so fun that I fell asleep on the way back!
The snorkeling was fun, but very short and repetitive... Still would do it again, totally worth the money!!

If you only take one excursion in the Bahamas, this is the one. The ride to Exuma Key in a speedboat was exciting and fun. The crew was very friendly and helpful and the activities were all they said it would be. Snorkeling with fish, sharks and rays and dining on a great lunch and fresh conch salad was a great way to spend a day on a private island. Oh, did I mention an open bar?
The trip left from the ferry terminal on Paradise Island around 9 AM and returned before dark. The price was $199 per person.
