“Already planning our return & for longer stay!”
Reviewed February 9, 2010

From the moment we got off the plane - we found the Breezes Desk at the airport, which was much easier than we anticipated. We were given our pre-registration paperwork to complete and told that it would be about 15 minutes until the shuttle was going to pick us up. We didn't have a problem with that, so we went outdoors, he had a smoke, and within 3 minutes, the luggage shuttle was there and 2 minutes later, our ride was there - very comfortable multi seat "bus" shuttle, with air conditioning and a very pleasent & informative driver.

We LOVED it here! We read the posts by others, and while some were informative and some were negative, we went with an open mind and high hopes. We were so pleased with EVERYTHING that we are already planning our return trip next year!
The staff is forbidden to receive tips. We asked that if we felt we had great service, if we could discretely tip and were told, "absolutely not, that the employee could lose their job if caught." Knowing this made it even better when every, and I mean EVERY, staff member genuinely greeted us, said hello, good morning, may I help you, how are you, what can I get you, etc. and with a true smile upon their face. You could tell that they really liked their job, and providing for the guests.
We had the luxury of enjoying our favorite US beverages, top shelf, at no charge. The food was tasty, and plentiful. While the main dining room served close to the same food nightly, they did a nice job of doing "themes" such as Oriental fare, Thanksgiving-type fare, local tastes, etc. Breakfast and lunch were enjoyable as well, and nothing was ever "out" as we read in other posts. The poolside grill was fast, friendly, fresh and tasty. We really enjoyed the local favorite of Conch Fritters on a daily basis!
The pool water was just a little cool for our liking from January 31 - February 5th 2010, HOWEVER the ocean, which was only about 60 yards away from the towel hut, was a warm 74-76* and such a joy to be in during that time of the year! The hot tub - comfortable and a great place that a huge number of us utilized nightly! We often had 30-40 of us in there and while that made it cramped - the drinks kept us all making new friends and chatting up the day's events!
Our room was exactly what I would have expected it to be - comfortable, clean, and easy to access. We never had a problem with anything coming up stolen, the room was maintained for us daily, we had a maintenance problem one day - when the shower would not turn off and after calling the front desk, it was fixed immediately, without hassle.
The entertainment was fun and kept us occupied for as long as we wanted it to - both inside at night in the open-air party room, to being poolside playing trivia games or chugging beer, to name a few.
We did take the time one night to make a reservation at The Garden Of Eden, one of their speciality restaurants, and it was soooooooooo worth it! The food was delicious, and on the gourmet side, and the service was impecable! It was a great romantic setting and experience!!
All that said - simply put - we were just very very pleased with the entire experience!
This is mostly an adult resort, however it is stated that its' 14+. Next year we're bringing our youngest daughter (17) to enojy the carribbean with us!

My husband and I went with two other couples. Not a five star hotel, but the service was better than exceptional! Never waited for anything, there was always food available. We made reservations and ate at Pastafari one evening. The food was delicious! Highly recommend. Enjoyed watching the Super Bowl in the main lobby/lounge area. Also enjoyed "Toga Night". Many activities to enjoy. The staff was always smiling and would do anything to make sure you were having a good time. We all agree we are going back next year same time, same place!

After reading some reveiws before we left, I wasn't expecting a five star resort or even close. Upon arriving we were pleasantly surprised. Food, drinks, room , beach and staff were wonderful. Specialty restaurants were excellent. Room was great. Decor may be outdated but I'm not one to care about what the bedspread looks like. My only complaint would be no mini fridge in room and no bottled water. There is a water cooler in the gym to fill your own though. The water on the resort itself has a bit of a funky taste although drinkable. Over all we were a group of 14 and had an awesome time!

Breezes resort was a great place for my husband and I to get away and unwind from the crazyness of life.
The staff was curtious. Kim at the towel booth was very friendly. The food was buffet style and much better then cooking for yourself. The Garden of Eden had a nice dinner atmosphere that was very romantic. There was also poolside bbq food throughout the day. (Jerk chicken was great :) and a poolside bar serving till 7pm. Remember to try the endless superman drinks and kalik beer
The hotel had a lot of activities planned throughout the day pool side. ie ...Bingo, beach bowling, music and more. There was a piano bar and nightly entertainment. Outside of the resort on cable beach, we rented skijets and went power sailing. Both excursions were reasonably priced and action packed. My husband and I both had the time of our lives.
Casino night life at the near by Wyndam was a lot of fun. It was only a 5 minute walk. You can walk 3 minutes to a nearby flea market with excellent deals. The beach and views were breathtaking. Water was crysytal clear and not to cold for February.
While the place is not 5 star, it was clean, friendly , and reasonably priced. Overall if you are looking for a relaxing trip to soak up the sun and enjoy your spouse without a care in the world, this was a great place.

Even after reading the splotchy reviews for this resort, we booked anyway because we found a deal we couldn’t refuse, and had previous good experiences with the SuperClubs resorts in Jamaica. We had never been to the Bahamas, so thought this would be a good way to try it.

We arrived to find a lot of the negatives that other reviews had mentioned. But it turns out we were actually satisfied with our decision to stay at this resort. We had a lot of fun, got to see the Bahamas, and didn’t spend a fortune.

The resort, although worn, is overall clean and comfortable, spacious, and has plenty of things to do. We really commend Bullet and Snake (activities coordinators) for keeping things interesting. There are various activities around the pool during the day, and sports like beach volleyball. Evening entertainment was at the main bar area, where most of the guests gathered after dinner. It was always good…..usually a band, and sometimes a show and dancing. There is also a disco (which we fondly call the dungeon, since it’s downstairs and rather dark). There were theme parties at the disco during the week: PJ party, and Toga party, that were very fun.

The food at the buffet was very good, in our opinion. Not fancy resort food, but more like good home-cooked food. We didn’t try the restaurants; the buffet was good enough for us.

It was convenient to get to downtown Nassau from the #10 bus stop near the front of the resort, and only cost $1. From downtown Nassau, we took the water taxi (it’s near the cruise ship terminal) to Paradise Island/ Atlantis for $6 each round-trip. We had lunch at Murray’s Deli in the Atlantis Hotel, paid $50 for two club sandwiches and iced tea! That is when we really appreciated that we were staying at Breezes all-inclusive!

By the way, these are the negatives that we found. We were able to overlook these because everything else was good, and the price was right.
• The safe in our room was broken (lock was GONE)
• Only 7 hangers in the closet for two people, and they were rusty and broken
• No fridge in the room
• Room décor looks like Grandma’s house
• View from our room was the broken-down hotel next door
• Balcony in our room was standing-room only
• Only one channel on the flat screen TV in our room
• Door to our room won’t close unless slammed HARD
• Can’t find a table in the dining room because they are all dirty
• Had to hunt down our own silverware in the dining room
• Dining room out of coffee and soda, at times
• Aggressive birds swarm your plate if you leave it unattended at the outside dining
• Pool looked dirty (but turns out it just need to be repainted)
• Birds in and around the pool, pooping in the pool water

In summary, I recommend this resort for anyone who is interested in a fun vacation but doesn’t need to be pampered and surrounded by luxury. If we go back to the Bahamas, we will probably stay here again. However, we have a lot of other destinations on our list first.

My wife and I just returned from Breezes in Nassau from a short 4 night stay. We bought this resort for a very good price. We knew that this resort had been around for a long time and were not surprised to see how dated this property was. The price of our trip was inexpensive and we did not expect something more than what they offered. The food was decent, and the eating times were very flexible and often. Drinks were average and lines for the food and drinks were minimal. The rooms were in need of updating and the furnishings were very tired. Again, this is what we expected and were happy with the physical state of the resort. Our complaint with this resort was the employees and their general lack of intrest towards the guests. Whether in the buffet/bars/front desk/housekeeping, we have never seen such indifference towards the guests. They were not helpful, and honestly, most of the time you felt as though you were a bother to them. A little customer service and helpfulness can go a long way towards making guest feel good about their choice of resorts, especially when the resort is very marginal on cosmetics. We travel frequently, and we found this same attitude when staying at Atlantis a couple years ago. Maybe it is just the way of the Bahamas. I can assure you that the service we have gotten in the Dominican, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Curacao, and Mexico is far better than what we have found on this island. Nothing against this resort, but I feel my money will be more appreciated in a different country. With all of islands in the Caribbean to choose from, our choice of islands will be further south next time.

My husband and I were given our vacation to Breezes Bahamas as a 35th Anniversary gift by our children, and it turned out to be a wonderful gift! I have a very high comfort level and Nassau proved to be a place we could roam the city and feel very safe. The locals are pleasant and polite and this helped when sightseeing. The Breezes Resort was FABULOUS for it's staff, cleanliness, comfortability and being all inclusive made it a great way to enjoy food and drink all the time. Never a dull moment, with activities to do...or not as you wish. The specialty restaurants were great, and though the buffet was bountiful, the food wasn't always too hot. Any questions, there was someone to assist you and the best time was the massage on the beach for relaxation. I would and have already recommended this resort and All Breezes Inclusives as a great vacation spot. I am recommending Breezes to my daughter getting married in December, and personally I want to go to Breezes Curacao next time, because we loved Aruba and expect Curacao to be just as nice and island...but better at Breezes!
